Popping by straight after the final episode! Miss my era of the early 2000's
I'm 37 and this brought back so many great memories of the show.
I’ll be 37 in November and this nostalgia is driving me wild
i'm 37 now@@tombaycka
Cannot believe this episode was in itself now 17 years ago 😳😭
Even harder to believe its ending
@@rickhardman7376 hopefully it'll be saved but to be honest with you I've not watched it all that much since it moved to Channel 5, its heyday was on the BBC.
Adam Knight this eps was in 2005 whow time flys when we watch neighbours
yes it was 17 years ago
This is the only time the BBC aired the full 1 minute and 15 second version of the 2002-2007 theme.
Growing up as a kid I watched this and Home and Away every night in the evening because my Mum did too. Haven't watched it for over 10 years now, but watching this brought back so many memories!! Love Neighbours. Much better than any UK soap
Terry Bright me too until not long after the year 2000 then it got piss
Terry Bright No I’d rather have emmerdale, eastenders and coronation street any day at least they’re mostly filed young adults like neighbours, home and away and hollyoaks nowadays
@@acelister16 I sort of agree, as I grew up watching all the soaps, apart from Home and Away and Hollyoaks but did tune into both recently and dipped back out again. I love my Corrie, Emmerdale and Enders they are a big part of who I am. I am really going to miss Neighbours.
@@acelister16 my favourite soap is Prisoner Cell Block H
Absolutely DELIGHTED that Neighbours is returning. We really need this show in our lives, thank you Amazon. :) *tear*
Me too.But I can't find Neighbours on Amazon
Sad to think Neighbours won’t have a 40th anniversary 😞
Same here it was brilliant on BBC 1 back in the day after Newsround followed by the Simpsons on BBC 2 afterwards
Very sad that it's over
It might happen who knows
@@abdullahiahmed2805 sadly its unlikely, the show finished in Australia in June
@@abdullahiahmed2805 if Neighbours is anything like Crossroads it will return one day hopefully
What a great episode to remember this show with. Even though its about be to axed, and its not the cheery sunny show it once was, many of us will enjoy the memories of that Aussie sunshine and happy people.
I have to wonder though, if there was some sort of filter used for Annaliese's film. Its all in glorious technicolor, except the shots in London, which are so dreary that they are almost in black and white!
But that might be why Brits loved this show so much, it was our daily dose of sunshine, despite our miserable climate!
this eps story lines were in 2005
Aussie sunshine lol, Melbourne is Australia's cloudiest major city, have you endured a winter here? ugh...
I totally agree about the sun. It was our escape and it was always sunny 🌞
@@gregorygherkins1884 LOL have you endured a year in UK?

"Let's get out of here" - wow, what a true group of friends there
omg the nostalgia. I was 14 years old when this aired. The memories. Still watch it to this day, I'm 27 now. :)
Hope you are doing ok
I was only 8 if only I was born a little more earlier 😔
I was 26 😱
I was 10 when i started watching neighbours.
Im now 32 and still love it 😁😁
It’s going the way of the Dodo now
I must say, I’ve been watching neighbours since 1986 in London, born and live London, Paul Robinson reminds me of J.R Ewing in Dallas when I was small
Wow, this is the perfect companion episode to the final ever episode which has just been shown - amazing to see even more of the old characters!
Karl and Susan are like your tv mum and dad
Joe Mangle what a legend! ❤️
I loved Joe he was so funny.
Joe's amazing, he was my favourite character. Weirdly he know lives near me in Wales! Never thought that would happen lol
I so loved watching these Old Classics Neighbours Episodes From 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008
1987 was where Scott Robinson wed Charlene Mitchell.

thanks for these old school shows love this show,,an even the old school home and away was also really good,,,,love watching these.....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😇😇👍👍👍👍
This is the only one I've got from this era sadly. I'm sure there are plenty elsewhere online though.
Love this show, shame its no longer on tv in the UK i miss it.We never missed an episode.
It's on Amazon now. Came back last year. It's not the same, but hey... nothing's ever gonna be as good as the '90s-'00s era. Better than it not being on.
Anyone watching this episode after the final episode?
So lovely ❤! This took me right back to the early days of Neighbours.
I must've missed this one...what a cracking episode...and all those old faces of Ramsey Street-Past at the mini-movie, I remembered and watched every one of them...The 80s/90s/mid 00s were the best eras IMO....
I love that show Neighbours it my favourite show I still watch the show
I remember watching this episode, that evening, in October, 2005, after a full day at Uni. Ian said it was "ridiculous". I thought it was fine.
It kinda was a bit ridiculous! But that's why we love it eh?
I'm 33 - and saw this and i just thought "home" - mum, dad, me and my brother home from school and this was always on.
Cried at 30 and just saw this when I couldn't watch anymore!
I remember this,it was brilliant
Wow what a line up of cameos in that video! 😍
Never thought 35 years later in 2021 Ramsay Street named after the first family of Erinsborough the Ramsays is still Ramsay Street today. Never thought Ramsay Street would still be filled with everyone's favourite Neighbours families. After 35 years of Neighbours. Ramsay Street is still as it was back in 1985 when Neighbours first season started. I was 5 years old when Neighbours and Ramsay Street Erinsborough was first introduced. And in this 20th anniversary in 2005 was just the beginning of every anniversary celebration Neighbours will be celebrating in the future coming years after 2021.
sad times
Can't believe it's all over. . . Thought Neighbours would be around forever 😢
its back
Those have to be the most thrown together opening titles ever produced. 😂
Nice to see Lance again.
An absolute mega classic!!!
These need to be on freevee!!! Only go back as far as 2014
And now it’s all over 😫
used to love watching neighbours when i was younger its such a shame thats its finishing for good no more after this week
I am just thinking about how many actors I had forgotten about that slipped through my fingers! I am so gonna miss Neighbours, I hope they do something similar for the finale next week. I remember watching this when it first came out and now its 17 years old when it was first broadcast (2005) and its fun looking back.
This was the only episode I had recorded digitally. I remember as I was gonna be at work when it aired and a friend sorted it for me. Glad to have it!
I can't stand it that it's finishing next week.
@@LeroybrownLR3mk02 It's a rotten disgrace. Something very wrong with the world! Who knows maybe there's some hope.
Joe and Lynn's brief encounter made me crack up
Danny Ramsay should return!! He could have turned out like his father, Max, dominating everyone in the street.
Danny turned out to be a product of an affair didnt he so not a true Ramsey? I watched the first few episodes about 10 years ago when I broke my arm and had nothing to do! Loved the nostalgia!
@@jecka1982he’s still a Ramsay max still brought him up despite blood not being involved
do you have episodes 4775? and onward?? if not do you know where i can get them?
Quite a few of these characters wound up back on Ramsay Street eventually.
They did Delta Goodrem's character a disservice by turning her into an airhead whose life revolved around a boy.
Miss the characters, gosh I feel old and I am only 31. Miss the old Harold cafe and Lou's pub also
I'm 37 miss them very much
Good that. Part of my life.
It’s emotional for sure
I miss these episode
Abdul Rokib same here and i definitely miss the recap music from 2005 Neighbours Episodes
Funny how all the characters who appeared in the video just so happen to be professional standard in front of the camera as presenters.
Plot twist: Harold is secretly dating Susan & Daniel, without either knowing. Carl flirts with the idea of cheating on Susan (again) with Dr Darcy, but is persuaded otherwise by Paul who encourages him to strip down to his undies and confess his disliking of Lyn's big toe. After breaking into Carl's practice with the intent of getting high on some pharma grade drugs, Stingray had consumed enough Ritalin to turn Ramsay street into a weekend rave session. Stingray takes Lance's holden commodore sideways (uncontrollably) around the corner, up into Ramsay street. High on adrenaline, and little brain power, Stingray, counters his oversteer, mounting the gutter outside Steph's house, and flipping the car, where Toadie is in a clown outfit performing a belly flop onto the concrete. Hearing the tyre screech and sound of crushed metal hit the gutter, Ramsay street filled with it's simple minded residents, come running out to investigate. Unbeknownst to Stingray, a folder flies out of the car onto the road, filled with various photos of Carl dressed in fish net stockings, a g-string, high heels and a propeller hat. Joe is that disturbed by the sight of these photos, he king hits Lou who falls into a deep coma, only to wake with the false memory of being attacked by Marlene and Madge sporting shit stained underwear. Joel, in fitting with his superfluous role in Ramsay Street, provides some unsolicited advice to Felicity. Felicity calls Drew to tell him, Lyn's son, Jack was joining Harold's Charity band, which urges Connie to take a hit out on Lou for flirting with Max. Now that's when good neighbours become good friends!
This period (2003-2007) was a great one for the show. Was all downhill after unfortunately.
True.I stopped watching in 2021.
20th Anniversary x
Like the finale it worked perfectly as a standalone episode even though a recurring storyline or two were included
Someone's cutting onions here.....
Now this brings back memories! Boyd and skye.
And izzy! 😁
Sky was my best one :)
FFS, I know it's the finale but did they HAVE to bring back the annoying Izzy woman purely to antagonise the Kennedys?
Marti Pellow was Karl Kennedy in his spare time.
Annalise will always be the most beautiful woman in the world, at any age :)
She's a beaut, there's no doubt about it.
She was stunning.
She looks exactly the same in 2005 as she did in 1993 and in a photo from 2015. I'm not sure what she looks like in 2022.
I met her in Wales back in the day, she was very pretty. I always thought she'd go on to be a huge Hollywood star. At the time she was talking about being in a show like Baywatch, but not sure that ever happened. She was quiet. I also met Melissa George near the same place (both were working to advertise Wimpey homes by doing appearances) and she was very chatty in comparison. Both beauties and lovely to talk to.
I miss Annalise, and her equally hot sister.
i don't
Well Carl, you reap what you sow
I liked this episode of Neighbours when Paul Robinson confronted all the neighbours he has made enemies out of including his former brother-in-law Philip Martin. Paul and Philip never got over their feud from 1993 after Paul set Philip up for fraud.
Controversy Over Number 26 Ramsay Street.
In 1993 when Jim Robinson passed away, his last will in testament stated that upon his death his mother-in-law Helen Daniels would be allowed to live in the house rent free until her death where Number 26 would then be split equally between Jim's children Paul, Scott,Glen and Lucy. However when Helen died in 1997, Jim's wishes where ignored by Philip Martin and he kept the house for himself and sold it in 1999.
What should have happened is the house should have been signed over in equal shares to Jim's children and then of Philip wanted to purchase the house from Jim's children then he could have. That would of been the right way to do it but instead Philip committed fraud.
I still don't get how Philip could have sold the house in 1999 as the deeds to Number 26 Ramsay Street would have been jointly in the names of Jim's children and to my knowledge Philip never bought the house from them. So if Philip got the deeds changed in to his name by way of fraud that means every owner of Number 26 since Philip sold it is void as the house legally still belongs to the Robinson children
Michael Renwick sale could have happened off screen
Anything post-1996 (when Debbie replaced Cody in the opening titles) isn’t part of the classic canon.
@@anicetune The 90s was garbage though, this time period (early, mid 2000s) was far better.
@@PaulKinnear highly likely. As I understand it Madge also bought Number 24 back from Marlene off-screen.
I wish there were more 2004 ones on here, esp Lana's episodes. Can hardly find any of them. :(
I advice to Neighbours director should ask Netflix for new series in the future, All fans do you agree with me?
The only cast member I don't miss is the annoying Izzy woman, WHY did they have to bring her back purely to antagonise the Kennedys and end up having it off with Shane Ramsay? A man who's literally old enough to be her Dad!
More to the point why did they bring her back to antagonize them when she made her peace with them just before she left the first time. They clearly all thought we don't remember.
I think Shane Ramsay is probably only about 10 years older than Izzy
@@alexistajkman7221 More like 20 years at the minimum.
Because she is one of the most popular characters in the shows history
@spideyspid Izzy is probably in her 40s. Shane would be in his 50s.
Is it just me or does Susan look HOT in low cut tops? And Lynn as well.
back when neighbours was good
its brilliant right now
jim zen it is!!
Ellen Boyd Absolutely
Ellen Boyd it started getting crap years before that
Thus was one of the last to be show on BBC 1 before Neighbours moved to 5, and then the hypocrite BBC replaced it with a crap Australian soap that lasted about a month before being canned.
Hahaha I think I remember that one. "Breakers".
Those swishing sound effects at 3:53
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww xxxx
He said it...NEIGHBOURS
13:41 Toadie smiling at his future wife’s footage.
Great cast here - I think a few was missed out that could've been added - but not that many! The Willis' looked a bit in-complete with just gaby on film and doug!! Why no Brad, no Adam (though obviously they'd have had to use flashbackk's for Cody). Having Glenn Donnelly would have been good and Caroline and Chrissy ay-be and where was Jen who marriedd Phillip after his loung courtship of Ruth ended - not even a mention of her and whattabout that loopy geezer who went out with Annalize and may-be she could have mentioned that her mother fiona realized in the ewnd how she fully intended to fleeve Jim all along and then realized how cruel she';d been to him and was sorry! All in all though this was a great mix of cast - it was good Rosemary got more than her usual bit part's and to see the Stark-Carpenter Family again - but what became of Cheryl and that horrid actress who they got into replace after she was taken prisoner in Equdor for the best part of a year.!!? It was a shame too there was no Dorothy Burke - even if it had meant a re-casting too i thought as dorothy to Neighbours along with Mrs mangel was there answer tto corrie's Emley and Rita and EastEnders Dot/Ethel - but it was great to see Sky again all grown up and so many others we had forgotan about - so many generations in one small segmant - great!!!!!!
That horrid actress who replaced Cheryl is the actress who now plays Sheila.
Oh yeah and she is even worse as Sheila
I see Bernard Curry heard about the role of Jake 11 years before he went on Wentworth LMAO 21:33
Hello. Do you have the Neighbours episode 4779 - "The Bucks Stops Here" which aired sometime in 2005 and could you upload it please? Thanks in advance!
No, sorry. This is the only one I recorded back in the day.
Okay. Thanks for the reply though. Much appreciated. :)
Karl getting deep
Channel 5 didn’t do Neighbours any justice. The finale episode was no way near as good as this
It was all downhill after moving to C5, I stopped watching around 2009/10 because of how bad it got.
Agreed
Compared to this the 30th was a piss poor effort.
Totally agree.
Retro unleashed that’s because it started to get crap before this episode and it’s even crapper now
Golden era
3:57 might have been funnier if Harold looked more uncomfortable and sore and drew back sharper!
end gane is a tine f lucy back ?
7:12 - 7:24 Egbert and Kean
I wonder why they didn’t include Phoebe.
The show changed when Channel 5 took over
Because they killed off and wrote out all the good families and characters. From 2003-07 it was the best soap on TV, then they destroyed it.
yes the whole feel of it changed
True,it went downhill and was nowhere as good.I stopped watching on 2021
Can you please put neighbours 2239 on thank you
Who is the woman with the thick dark long hair and dark eyes? Did she work in the coffee shop?
You can only presume nothing existed before 1985.
Sorry but its my fave soap
It's the only one I watch.
