Trailer looks great ! Adds some contrast from the truck . You’re right, too much of one color may have been bad , crazy how much space it takes up
Agreed. I think all green would have looked like an old Quaker State/Sprite/7UP racing team truck.

My hauler kept popping the rod end off and going up at different rates, you have to hit bind twice the again, that makes steering and throttle adjust your trim and endpoints on channel 3🤘🏽
Krylon farm and implement primer. It’s lacquer and dries nice n fast
Killer work as always, I'm sure someone has said it, but tamiya fine surface primer works well for a deep red base
I haven’t seen it in red before but will look. Loved the gray when I’ve used it🤘
I got my hauler the other day, and it’s even better in person then on video and pictures. I personally wouldn’t patina mine, but that’s not my style or likes.
Wonder if the cen f450 wheels will fit the hauler that would be cool
You need to build a Barbie 57 Chevy into an RC rat rod. Maybe a TT 02 chassis??
Its pretty massive though, Barbie was 8 foot tall, lol

It could be made to work with a cen hitch. The scale looks pretty good together.
Can you put some expo in the servers that are fast to slow it down so it doesn’t raises quick or lowers quick?
not on the rtr radio, has no adjustability for channel 3 and 4 could easily be slowed on a better radio
What about wood beds for both truck and trailer?
There are a couple brands making some already. I’m not really that into it for mine. I like the functionality of the setup now.

I sell the chassis kits and bodies for the trucks like in this video on rceveryday.com. My older custom builds are just 3d printed bodies, check out nightcrawlers3d on facebook, he did a lot of them for me.

Where do you get your tires and wheels for the rat rods?
all over the place, the front wheels are 1.9 rc4wd cruiser beadlocks with their 1/7 roady wide semi tires. The rear are found on ebay as 1/8 scale model funny car tires, on some plastic (steelie) 1.9's on ebay. Im use a lot of the rc4wd 1.7 semi tires, about the only scale road tread tires around, my yellow truck has vintage 1/8 scale model car tires on 3d printed wheels.

Needs some oil and fluid stained wood decking. Or at least the current decking needs weathered to match the rest of the rig.
