What I love about playing as Ellie is the fact that her arsenal is better equipped and true to her character; stealthy and aggressive where as Abby's weapons are more military style and in-your-face sort of thing.

@@RemKaioh The flamethrower was pretty nice for the rat king, bloaters and big groups of enemies. But other than that, yeah Abbys arsenal is shit compared to Ellies especially since you have to craft shivs instead of having a knife.
Love the fact that in this videogame, the NPC's have actual characteristics. They arent just saying the same 5 monolog over and over, but they interact with each other, every one of them has a name and they can react to anything.
I'm so addicted to these perfect gameplays where the player knows exactly what he's doing, especially in the last of us it's so relaxing.

i’ve been playing for two hours now in Hillcrest all morning, got through the first wlf, and i wanted to know how it can be done on grounded+, no damage, stealth.. surprise surprise, this was uploaded AN HOUR AGO

I was in the same boat as you, surrounded by enemies and I only had 3 arrows to wipe them all out. I would suggest using the bow (especially with the rangefinder) and try to headshot all of them, it can take a bit of time and patience but you can get the arrows back if you pull it off and not to mention scissors and tape are surprisingly plentiful. And top advice is to do a bit of save scumming (waiting for a checkpoint) it may be cheating but it’s grounded and hillcrest will be the only time you need do it. Good luck!
Sneak pass them most encounters are just run through. There only some of them that you have to actually fight.

Spotlighting that girl was pretty freaking cool. This game is just incredible. All the little details like that. The first time I played this game, I remember being just in awe. How good the gameplay and environment/world is, on top of an all-time great story. I couldn't think about anything else for a solid week.

The Last of Us Series is so special. I come back every 5 Months to play both of them again, i love the TLOU Games to the Core but hats off your Gameplay is beyond Perfect! Hope the second Part make a Release on Pc too

God damn it I love this section of the game…I got back into gaming after 20yrs and TLOU 1&2 were my first tastes of modern gameplay…the last game I played was Goldeneye on the N64 in the late 90’s….
There's still clowns who hate on this game, but the immersion, soundtrack, graphics and especially this amazing gameplay are all excellent. Naughty Dog doesn't make bad games.
When Ellie make some forward lean in a deep grass , it reminds me for a little like Big Boss movement in Metal Gear V. AWESOME PLAY MATE !!! 10/10

my god this is blowing me away... the level of precision. and timing and mastery of all the mechanics.... I could never hope to emulate this. And you make it look easy! popping people off with the sniper rifle without even using the scope..... quick bow shots taking out multiple enemies. The fucking dogs don't even have a chance to catch onto you! This is so impressive and makes me feel like a chump. I struggle so hard especially on this part of the game. That second part with the dogs and the houses... Hardest part of the game IMO. I die so many times trying to deal with the dogs. And you went through so easily you were toying with the the enemies and making them look like fools!

Or at least give Jerry a bigger backstory in S1 so Abby actually has good reason, rather than just pulling out an important character out of nowhere.

Ellie in game is like a rambo , but im talking specifically about this guy’s gameplay , its great and looks cool but it isnt a realistic fight , you can have a realisitic fight in the game when you adapt on the go which is how your supposed to play the first time through or through an encounter , but this guy has played the game so much that he just knows every enemy pathing . Thats not a bad thing , thats cool and takes time and dedication , but it doesnt make for realistic gameplay is my point just really cool flashy gameplay

Rambo KNOWS where his enemies will show up and how they'll move. He is LITERALLY TRAINED to be an "all-knowing robot killing machine". What Ellie showing here is similar but through years living in hostile environments.

Honestly, despite its weak story (at least imo), the gameplay is a huge improvement from the first game. Sure it's just another shooting game, but it was really clean. The animation, the environment, the AI, the audio and soundtrack. It's just really fun watching people playing it

Reminds me when devs use to do gameplay reveal PTs except this isn’t scripted and in real time. Literally flawless the combat is incredibly difficult and unpredictable in this section from my memory and experience. Anticipation and timing on point. 🏹🎯🦋

Awesome gameplay, super intense. Not sure I can make it past the first 10 minutes of this game.
The hardest part about grounded mode is the scarcity of ammo and supplies. Would love to see you play with two bullets and a brick.
It's easy to take out every enemy from behind and use two bullets and a brick, but it's boring to watch , and that's why i save ammo before playing the chapter

that’s why i made a custom difficulty where it’s just grounded but supplies are everywhere so i can have an experience like this. but on my first walkthrough i did it the regular way.

I’m definitely playing it once I finish part 1 on my PS5. I’ve had part 2 on digital since it was released, only played a few hours but I never finished it. Despite there being no PlayStation 5 version of the game, it looks fantastic.
