      I agree on diesel and rotary but there isn't much to a electric motor to make it fun in this game

      @@Wesleystewart78 it's interesting to compare an electric engines power curve to that of an internal combustion engine. High powered electric engines still have a problem maintaining torque with rpm, and with that, sustaining peak power which is usually the opposite of how a high powered internal combustion engine runs. It makes for a different driving experience.

    Impressive how you got it to be "peaky" like a turbo diesel. I would like to see a haul/tow test, sure!
    (please no flashy rims or trashcans for exhaust tips lol)

    Also something you can do to simulate diesels is to use the devmeth fuel so that you can max compression and timing, and have the leanest possible fuel mixture

    Since diesel functions so differently from the standard Otto cycle you should switch to the "Devmeth" to run lean and high compression.

    the 6.7 specs is it has 16 valves. not 32(thats what a duramax has at the same displacement). the other point out it comes factory with a 67mm turbo(from the pictures i have seen). Its an over head valve much like the chevy LS. the big difference is the fact the turbo or exhaust comes out the same side of the head which is where the intake is

      The 6.7 has 32 valves, conventional push rod, cam in block.

      JHs 2006 is a 6.0 not a 6.7
      The 6.7 powerstroke wasn't released until 2011.

    You should try to recreate the Peugeot 908 HDi 5.5 diesel V12. The Audi R10 diesel would be a great too, since it redlines at 5500 rpm

      not that insane actually in the greater sceme of things, a Modified Mercedes Diesel will happily rev to 6 grand, Garden pulelr Tractors with TDI and HDI engines like to rev to 7 or even 8 grand, and high power Drag racign diesels are hitting 7000rpm as well, older diesels would rev to 5k or more all day anyday from factory.

      @@aaaabababa Yes, but pulling to 5,500rpm, 50+ times a lap for 24 hours straight is why that number is significant.

      @@Sephiroth5200 not really, no, the issue with RPM on a diesel isn't really wearing it out, it's that diesels just don't like to produce power at high RPM, it's not much more impressive than doing the same thing in a Non Diesel Car

If Audi or Peugeot could have run either of their V12s at a 7000 rpm full throttle redline under the load of a 200mph car for 3000 miles, they would have done it. That's my point. LeMans winning endurance diesel engines. Not tractor pull style engines.

      @@Sephiroth5200 the issue is that 7000rpm on a diesel wouldn't have made sense in that application, because diesels don't make the best clean power at higher RPM's, but 5500rpm isn't all that special, even for a diesel in endurance racing.

    hopefully someday they can add diesel fuel in the game
    and i hope someday they can add rotaries, flat engines (a bit different than boxers), and the inline 8 tood

    That might be what a powerstroke is able to do, but the way they're tuned is basically just no boost in the low end

    sadly the powerstroke is an OHV engine. much like the chevy LS. if your gonna buld an accurate engine. build it exactly how it exists in the real world. i know these motors better than most
