Unlocking a new section of the house, the art studio! I feel like I'm playing Sims by slowly "building out" each section. This is one of my favorite rooms out of the house, I can't wait to make so much art here. After many many years, it's wild to finally have a dedicated art-making space!

EEEE! Don’t drill random holes! You NEED to get a good stud finder or you’ll drill into a pipe or electrical wire! That’s so dangerous! And if nothing else hanging heavy things will be easier if you drill into an actual stud!

hiii that's a good point, just adding to awareness of things in the wall - don't quote me on this (and not saying this is always true - I live in new zealand) but wires tend to run vertically (unless right at the top or bottom of a wall), so if there are no electrical fittings just above or below you should be ok (check both sides of the wall). easy way to find studs - if you knock on the wall it'll sound hollow between studs and solid on a stud (they tend to be spaced at 40-60cm) 😊

Cute dog painting...i love watching my dogs especially when I am frustrated with a project. I have 12 dogs, 9 German shepherds, 2 boxer husky mixes, and 1 pit. They all have different personalities i love taking pictures of them so i can go back and sketch them lol. I loved watching them go off the diving board during the summer. 😂

Random note that I just discovered a week ago! iPhones (if that’s what you have) have a measuring app on them now which includes a level. I am also an eye-baller when it comes to hanging things - I refuse to measure. But it does help to know if something is level.
