Bro got sent to the spooky realm
Sorry about the re-upload lads, I'm a terrible editor - Tom
You've admitted a mistake so respect to that ❤. I was going to ask why the original was removed 😅
I think it's time to have this conversation. Could Tom the editor beat jon jones in a 5 round fight? Id say its close but Tom would pull out the win
Get it together Tom!
Excellent title choice btw 👻🙎🏾♂️😂
Sean O'Malley is dangerous tho
I can totally see Hill landing a straight off Alexs leg kick
Especially since Izzy did it a lot and he gave Hill a few tips against Alex so maybe that was one of them
If he can pick up on the leg kicks early in round 1 I can see him catching Alex with that straight right and dropping him early. Idk if he will finish him, but it could be similar in tempo and tone to the Izzy - Strickland fight if Alex gets dropped early
True, but I can also see Alex slipping the straight and returning with a left hook.
@@theywouldnthavetocensormei9231 but what happens if Hill slips the left hook and counters with his own???
LMFAO we could play this game forever and I think it's why this is going to be such a good fight
@@CaptCKernel same, they're both extremely talented and dangerous. I got Pereira though, I've learned my lesson, I thought he was gonna lose several times and he proved me wrong. I think longtime fans like me underestimated him bc we saw him as a convert, a kickboxer that wasn't really a mixed martial artist yet. Whether I was right at first or not, he's a mixed martial artist now. I think he gets it done.
Hill fights like those street beefs guys just at a elite level. He basically just walks forward and throws shit.
just shows how much knowing about distance and range is also a big part of fighting.
Nothing wrong with that! I’m one of those street beefs guys 😅
@-ser0ooo-766 I am one of those guys who watches street beef and says DAAAAMN!!

all I got from this vid, is that Jamahal is gonna fingerblast Alex
i think these breakdowns are becoming my fav On Point vids.
Jamal definitely can win and that why it’s exciting. Honor and glory to both men

Would you say its....50/50?
lmaoooooo
Ayyyyy
Lmao the dude arguing it’s basically 90/10 Alex is just a moron
Being able to "frame" or "touch" an opponent is what made the NBA great in the 80s and 90s, just ask Scottie Pippen. Neat to see the same idea used in MMA.
0:32 I absolutely love that riff.
It goes hard fr 🔥
Same. 👌🏾
sooo tuff
I love these style breakdown/advantage videos you guys do. 🤝
We not going to talk about how Alex has hair now?
Dope breakdown as always
no way yall really photoshopped hills head on izzy’s body😭
Yeah , Jamal has one more quality.... To have a sweet dream inside the octagon.
This honestly was on point. Not trying to sound corny lol you guys really nailed it!
🙏 ty
Great content 🙏🏿
I had a dream that Pereira completely flatlined Hill with an overhand right. It didn't look like either of them, but somehow I just knew it was them? You know those weird kind of dreams? But anyway, you get the point.
I know bro, I come back to this comment if I lose my home mortgage on the bet.
@@suburbanraider lmao, oof. I'm actually surprised Alex is such a slight favorite, I would have figured it was pretty wide, not like Nickal and Brundage obviously, but more like -200 to -250.
I had a dream where gane completely flatlined sergei in like 7 seconds like a week after the Aspinall fight lol
Ima come back at to this when the winner gets announced lil bro...
I had a dream that Conor smoke khabib with one shot, out cold 😂
Good video, thanks
super well done video !

Intro song is “Just the Beginning” by Quinten Coblentz
If Hill is actually healed up, I genuinely think he wins.
Same here tbh. Fan of both though so idm who wins.
What makes you think that? He’s fought nobody. Alex has basically fought only champs and former or future champs.
@@discoshrew7403Everybody says oh man Glover was washed and means nothing as a win yet Glovers 2 fights before that. He destroyed Jan with ease. (One of Alexs 205 wins) And was up 3 rounds to one vs Jiri before making a stupid ass mistake and getting finished. MMA math don't work but if people are gonna discredit his win over Glover like a lot of people are then Alexs wins don't hold much weight either
@@discoshrew7403with that being said. If Hill can deal with the calf kicks and with him being southpaw helps I think his long straight punches can cause Alex problems. He's always been suspectible to jabs and straights going back to his KB days
@@discoshrew7403He's fought lower weight classes when he rehydrated back up to 220+ and has been knocked out. He's facing someone that fights at that weight class and doesn't cut weight as much, so more water to avoid kos. Also Jamal sleeps people at his weight class with 1 punch, if he went to MW he would kill someone.
You forgot that framing is also used for poking dudes in the eye lol.
100% yes hahah
Thats a new gif at 6:21
Winner of the fight will be the fans. Should be a banger
This guy knows MMA stuff..
Jamahal for the win
50/50. Sure. 50% chance Alex wins by ko and 50% decision.
Can’t think of an athlete who has come back this fast from a completely tore Achilles. Know he got Aaron rodger’s stem cells but even if it’s completely healed, there’s no way Hill has been training hard.
it's a really good point man, but like Luke said recently, so many injured fighters go in there and perform. Aspinall was injured against Sergei, Sean was injured against O'Malley, it's tough to count someone out for stuff like that ya know. Remember when Tony F came back after the knee injury and beat Pettis, crazier shit has happened haha
Tim Welch, OMalleys coach, tore his Achilles the same way also playing basketball, he's 4 months out from surgery and says he feels good on it, can't do explosive takedowns but everything else is fine. Not saying Jamal is 100%, but I think you'd be surprised how quick you can heal from injury when you have world class medical services at your finger tips.
@@etlonjonhTim Welch is a coach, he’s not going through a grueling training camp while also trying to get his weight down (hill was like 240 a week ago) getting ready for the weight cut. Training a couple times a week is not comparable.
Tony was much slower post knee injury so that’s not a very good example either. Jamahal can definitely still win but I doubt we will be seeing the best version of him.
@@Chopper51138 Tim Welch was literally a pro fighter up until like 5 years ago. No it's not the same, but it's similar, he had the same injury and trains often, literally 5 days a week coaching and training. He's back training in a similar timeframe to Jamal with the same injury, if you don't see how that's relevant I don't know what to tell you.
@@BayliunSHOUT OUT TO THE BAYLEEN WHALE 🐋
Alex knows the southpaw lines as he showed in the fight. He fought all kind of strikers
jam all got meme'd on
Bro this guy always get them wrong xD
I know people talk shit but i love baliens technical breakdowns, hes the only one there with stiking experience

@@Bayliun I'm really glad you're doing these videos standing up and showing the movements yourself, it really helps grasp the different techniques from the different fighters you've done. Good job bruv, much love & respect.
@@m1k1254 thanks man! These are my favourite thing to do for sure!!
@@Bayliunyou the man brother actually love the breakdowns
Boy meets world guy
Let me guess, it mustnt be left hook!!😉
0:15 Egon Kowalski supporting Alex Pereira? 🤔
🗣4th Round Stoppage for Hill, thats my bet, and conformation as best? Let's go Mr Hill🤜💥
Who would have thought the ref could throw him off his game
Hill drops his left hand when he throws his right cross that’s a deadly bad habit
How did they. get the permission to use the Fight pass footage?
Thank god he spot putting on the short and telling us what a pro fighter should do! He looked so silly😂
You should ranks the champ champs next
Surprised Alex’s knees aren’t being mentioned, dude is brutal either way the knees in the clinch
Jamahal definitely has some, ahem, "spooky" boxing.
They both are great fighters but the biggest X factor with all the questions is Alex has been knocked out at Middleweight, hes about to have a power hitter at Light heavyweight. Alex will need to truly shutdown Jamal or he will look like Glover. Alex did well against Jan but he doesn't throw kicks and plays distance like Jamal does.
I really would love to know what izzy told Hill. It might be some technical stuff only fighters can understand not casuals. But they all treading lightly on it.
I dont see alex so confident is what scares me
Hill might have this in yhe bag TTTHS
This video is going to be so embarrassing come Sunday morning. Jamahal "I leave my hand by my hip 24/7 and never check leg kicks." Hill is going to sleep, early.
Everyone is acting like his one KO versus Johnny "I'll nap any & everywhere" Walker means he has big power.
Pattern Recognition:
2:17 - Hand in his pocket
2:33 - Over-extended, hand by hip
3:23 - Hand in his pocket
3:29 - Hand in his pocket
6:47 - Hand in pocket
18:30 - Eats counter left hook - "MMA this is actually a good thing."
19:02 - Drops guard, over-extends, chin up in a money shot pose
19:15 - "Just kinda guide him into a right hand, the kind that has KO Alex before." Alex has only been KO'd once, but Adesanya while being overly aggressive for a finish after cutting down to 185
20:41 - Jimmy "73 inch reach" Crute
21:53 - I have maybe never seen any situation that pull counter would have slept someone easier.
23:32 - Stosic, who went 1-3 in the UFC - Here's a compilation of left hooks smacking Jamahal in the head.
Doesn't show OSP, Glover and Santos all came close to sleeping him with left hooks in this video. What do you Poatan's left hook will do?
That’s what I’ve been saying, hill drops that hand every time, if he drops that hand and he’s unable to pick it up fast enough, hill is gonna get cracked. Hill has a good chin but you can only take so many shots untill it gives out
I agree 100% idk how you can watch the Glover fight and feel like "yeah Alex will be easy for him" 😅
@@Danez1342 He's 33-7 in Kickboxing & 7-2 MMA. And he's only been slept once, with 2 TKO's. This is literally the equivalent of Ngannou vs Joshua because Hill is gonna keep it standing. Don't even mention the fact that Hill is coming off the couch from what is possibly the WORST injury a come-forward striker like Hill could have.
combine that with his footwork being literally walking into range/crossing his feet every time he circles, 205 is truly in hell if he's one of the best the ufc has.
@@notapplicable__just wondering, what are you gonna say if Hill ends up winning the fight? 🤔 personally I don't know who is gonna win because mma is a crazy sport and anything can happen but I love that are people like you that act as if you know the outcome before even watching the fight, people that are so sure of themselves. 😅
You forgot to mention if you own the IRS you cant bet
safe bet is alex im still iffy about hill's injury but if he shows 0 injury i think he wins! bring the title home to usa baby!!!
hill got embaressed
I see a lot of what you’re seeing Bayliun, I don’t think the fight is 50/50 but I think Hill has a legit shot. I never felt Jiri had as much of a chance against Alex.
We’ll have to see how the injury has affected Hill though.
Sweet dreams for the W via k.o rd2
Why do i feel like this fight isn't lasting a round...
Its going to be a devastating win either way.
Either Jemals style is really effective or it not vs and elite kickboxer
Styles make fights..Sean Strickland style saw him beat izzy over 5 rounds but get finished v Alex in 2 minuts..
Can he do it with a partially healed Achilles?
Hill could definitely catch Pereira with a long straight punch. Pereira is very hit-able and those wobbled him when it was Adesanya throwing it. Hill has a lot more power. Leaning slightly Hill’s way but wouldn’t be at all surprised if Pereira wins.
Would have loved to see Periera v Machida
Michel or Alex periera
Hill also has a nasty clinch game, I think it's also a big tool he can use against Alex.
I'd say they're as good as each other in the clinch just better over different aspects. For example, I'd say Pereira's knees are faster and accurate but Hill's are heavier. I'd say Hill is probably physically stronger in a clinch too.
Ngl, the font's and different type sizes in each of the titles distracted me throughout the whole thing.
So what you’re saying is…Hill has a chance to make it to the second round? Nice.
So much footage of Alex fighting Orthodox fighters.... Why aren't we looking at the southpaw fighters or people that switch to southpaw?
I'm kind of surpised how many videos I am seeing about Hill possibly winning. He is coming off a very bad injury achillies tendon. That injury in professional sports usually signals the beginning of the end. Espically that injury happened what 8 or 9 months ago? I have a very very difficult time thinking Hill will win. I like Hill too but Alex is a very different animal there is no 2 ways about that
Jamal and Alex are gonna get the BIGGEST PPV Bonus' Of all time. More than Any of Conor's PPVs
I want Alex to win, but let's be honest, that chin is suspect at best...
He's 33-7 in Kickboxing & 7-2 MMA. And he's only been slept once, and 2 TKO's. This is literally the equivalent of Ngannou vs Joshua because Hill is gonna keep it standing.
@notapplicable__ always rooting for Alex just izzy rocking him like he did at the bell in one of those fights and his knockout of Alex both didn't seem like the craziest hardest shots... I would have thought Alex of all people would have ate those but maybe those shots were actually a lot harder than they seemed. They say your chin once gone is gone. Hope that's not the case for him. But I'm still going Alex by 5th round tko
@@SunTzuMediapretty sure he got rocked against Bruno Silva as well.
@@notapplicable__ngannou who’s never been rocked or slept got flatlined by Joshua who isn’t known for being this huge scary ko artist
@@dominickd16 umm I am saying that hill is ngannou.. and poatan is Joshua.
Watch the way Alex koed jiri if Jamahal comes in like he always done which is similar to jiri he will get countered
What??? He’s 100% stepping before throwing a kick
It’s just fast
Accuracy rate🎯
I'm a fight forecaster with an 89% success rate.
Alex wins by KO. That's all.
I'm leaning toward Alex. His leg kicks are devastating, and Hill is coming back from a lower leg injury. Just a thought.
Hill doesn't check low kicks very well. On the other hand, Alex can't move his head side to side, so it's quite even if you think about it 😅
Yeah ,about that...
Brother, what was that? 6:20-6:22
If Hill beats Alex, I'll eat my hat.
Acting like it’s an impossibility, 0 ball knowledge
I think that Alex has the better odds of winning but Jamal will probably win with a wheel kick to Alex's face. That is my opinion.
Hills guard isn’t there when he throws hooks
Yeah he's kinda like Pereira and relies on his distance management, footwork and the threat of his power and offence to avoid what's coming back from his opponent
Wear some sweats on these breakdowns so you dont rip your pants again.
Hill’s resume isn’t exactly the best though. He was still getting caught by a 45 year old Texeira. At that point he wasn’t nowhere near his best and he was still catching Hill.
Yea boii have a nice day everyone!
Pereira gonna eat him alive, just hope his chin gets him thru the fight
I’m just here to see BaElian wearing girl jeans in 2024 ❤
Balian rocks!
🙏 thanks man!
Did you just make this video to justify your 50/50 pick of the fight?
Bruh, Pereira is gonna sleep him...
MMA off point
Who is letting homeboy leave the house with that hair!?
Soooo, you're watching an MMA video, worrying about and just checking out homeboy s hair? Thank you Paul Mitchell, we'll look into it for you😂
This guy is hating on a man's hair in a fight analysis video. His hair is normal as fk too. Elite hater behavior 😂
Imagine caring
Well that didn’t work
The only thing hill can beat Alex with prob Bo or bad breathe because fighting isn't Alex he won't win
You can’t count out anyone. Serra/GSP is proof of that.
Bro watch hill out em out easy
No you do not pivot on leg kicks clearly you guys don’t trains Muay Thai
This didn't age well
Perreira showed he doesn’t know basic mma like wrist grips and postional stuff on the ground, keeps his hands down, drops his hands each shot. Hill goes the distance and also knows decent mma. There is also a reason why Alex wasn’t in the UFC years ago-- HE SUCKS!!!
charma by tko
Chama 🗿🗿🗿
Bro how dumb do you feel being this confident about about hill just for him to get slept in round 1
hahaha chama
you know the leg kick changes the whole dynamic right?
Did you just call Jamal a spook? lmao
Hill aint doing shit
I think Hill's chin is what wins it for him. Hes taken some shots in his fights and we know Alex has been knocked out clean before at 185...Jiri was able to touch him, and Hill is much more powerful than Jiri.
Hill is also tough as nails. Bro had his arm snapped, flopping like a dead fish and was still throwing hands with Craig, definitely not the best sub defence but still, gotta give credit that he was fighting till the end.
