I think the very point of the film and book was to not have these made up "perfect" ideas of people and their life. I remember how fixated one was following the main character's chase, and then the ending got really depressing but super sobering. the whole freakin movie was a fantasy, so gotta agree with you one that point.

He's funny, serious, and smart, which makes him amazing. I laughed many times during the movie to things he said, and did. This movie makes me feel at home, 5 friends in a little van driving across the state to find a loved one, it's amazing. Ben is very funny too, the scene where he's trying to kiss Marcus in Quentin's room, where he's peeing in the can in the van, and when he's drunk (he always acts drunk lmao). 5 stars, 10/10
