This is not a joke. We've actually obtained command blocks (and barrier) in vanilla survival
THIS ONLY WORKS UNTIL 1.12 Literally everything that makes it possible (population manipulation, savestating, falling block mechanics, instant tile tick, instant fall, async chunk loading etc) it's all gone in the newer versions, so don't even ask if it's possible cause it's just not

@@Eulers_Identity I know air was ID 0 at some point, ID 11111111 probably hasn't been added to the game yet. I think IDs were removed during the flattening, though. If they weren't I think 11111111 would be some color of glazed terracotta or concrete, although I'm really not sure.

kinda, they are not creating something new, just figuring out how to create a previously thought to be non-attainable element that we already had, it would essentially be like finding a way to mass produce gold or another example would be able to take two elements and turn one of them into hydrogen, which on a large enough scale would be insane for energy generation soooo yeah its pretty incredible, wish real life worked this way 😂😂

I mean, if you plan getting more than 10 blocks, it pays off.

Now they just have to figure out a way to open the command block, then they can just /gamemode creative and actually play creative mode on a vanilla survival server XD

@@businessaccount4159 under normal circumstances no, command blocks can not be opened, or even placed on the ground in survival mode. But to be fair, they aren't supposed to be obtained in survival mode and that ship has sailed so who knows. Fingers crossed he figures out a way :)

@@kodicraft now that would be super interesting. And they would only need to do it once. If they get the block to say /gamemode creative then they will be opted and can use all other commands whenever they please

yeah, he got the barrier block to but it was in another version and another setup some months ago. Anyway he was the first person who got a bedrock item in vanilla SSP

they might've changed this, but inventories on bedrock are client-side, you can literally just cheat in items in survival without any sort of permissions and the server will just go "yeah"

2:22 Yes, you could _theoretically_ obtain a Command Block if you corrupt (change) the second 1’s position on the Anvil’s line to match the position of the Command Block’s line.

@@thomaswalls4188 oh cool :) I'll never ever regret being one of the 3-4 mods of PT who started the project to get rid of Ray. It was genuinely one of the most fulfilling things I've ever been able to do in my life as he was actually ruining people's lives. I don't think people will ever know the full extent of how controlling he really was off camera.
Either way, I mean no harm to him and I hope Ray is having a good life and success and happiness :)

That's so cool, i knew that after SciCraft we would get ProtoTech, also i know you already got barrier as a block a little while ago and was wondering, why didn't you tried to get barrier items with igloo ? Maybe its easier the way you did but this wasn't discovered when only the End Portal Frame method was here and i think its possible to get barrier as an item using only generic method... (Correct me if i'm wrong)
Population method barrier is literally the most difficult thing you can do in this game. It's definitely harder than a command block item. Only RPM has ever made a setup for it and done it in survival on KiwiTech (first server to obtain barrier item btw).

The texture actually starts flying into the sky, the falling Block and its texture then disappeared.
