The writers/directors really dropped the ball on this. I normally like the FL, but in this one, she has a personality where she doesnt know if she has a backbone or if she is an emotionless, brainless doormat who is prone to standing ther looking stupid, instead of fighting back or running The male lead starts out being badass, but instead of finishing off the two who were the real problem, he roughs them up a little and lets them go, but orders the man who was about to rape her in front of everyone on the scene, to be castrated. The son she never met because he was taken at birth, knows who she on sight. He was mute, but starts talking the moment he sees her. The witch of a sister knidnaps her, but when the male lead and the with him, show up, neither of the do anything but talk for quite some time, despite the fact they both have multiple chances to disarm her because she repeatedly moved the knife away from the FL's throat. Because of this, the child gets stabbed protecting his mother. The evil ex just disappears after it is learned that the ML is attacking him financially. It doesnt make sense that was all that was done to him when he hit her more than once, and tried to sell her for personal gain, as well as being party to the possible endangerment of the child/ mental trauma of the child.
