I’m half way through it and I’m already sobbing on the floor. This is exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve been trying to get up the nerve to pray but lately every time I try I’ve felt such a force yelling At me and telling me I’m not worthy that I don’t deserve anything. But man; this song just hit me right in the heart. I feel like I say this every time but it bears repeating. Thank you so much for making this songs. Your songs help me and so many others see God in a tangible way and reach out to him. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Just a word of advice: It is the Adversary who tries to convince us, for whatever reason, not to pray, because he doesn’t want us to reach out to Heavenly Father. But the truth is, no matter who we are or how much we fumble through a prayer, Heavenly Father wants to hear from us. He wants us to pray to Him, over big and small things, in gratitude and in pleading and in simple (but reverent) conversation. He loves us all, and wants to help us, and prayer is one of the greatest ways to open the doors to Heaven.

To be honest, it seems that releasing this song on Easter was not a coincidence.
If you really look into the lyrics, it does have a similar flair to the message that Christianity tries to bring.
All are welcome in the arms of God. All are welcome to come and eat with Him at His table.
Now, I know that some of you don't believe this, and your beholden to your interpertation.
I really do feel that the message of this song is a calling to family, whoever that may be.
Whoever it is that you call family, embrace them with open arms and they will treat you just the same.

I had about 140 songs I had composed myself. Lost them all. Recovered about 100. It's not so bad that I'll never get back the rest because life keeps dealing me a bad hand and I'll just keep on playing until the game is done

Taking the time to create a world where you belong with characters and families and experiences kept me going when a lot of other things would not, and this song captures the entire sense of family I worked so hard to bring into reality. I almost cried when I sat down and listened, the feeling of warmth in family has never felt so raw and emotional before. I can only hope my own work would create this same feeling, truly an inspiration, brings tears to the eye and an ache to the heart.
