- Over the past few months I have been working closely with Faithe Merrick to create a beautiful tribute video for Kenny Merrick Jr. This video was created entirely under the direction of Faithe Merrick. Full permission was given to me to go ahead and post this video by Faithe and Craig Merrick, so that we could share this beautiful video with everyone that knows and loves Kenny. We hope this video allows everyone to remember what a special person Kenny was, the amazing voice that he had and realize what a blessing it was to know him. This is a compilation video consisting mostly of Kenny participating in Powwows, and a lot of the clips that were used were taken from CZcams by Faithe's choosing. Without all of these beautiful video clips, this compilation would not have been possible. No copyright is intended, and this video is completely non-profit. The sole purpose of this video is to honor Kenny Merrick Jr.
Happy Birthday, and rest in peace Mato Duta.
To the Merrick Family, thank you so much for allowing me to honor Kenny this way, and for showing me such great kindness in doing so. You are some of the most humble, beautiful and sincere people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I love you all.

Kenny made singing look and sound so effortless. That is a NATURAL, a singer in pure form. I'd never met him, but admired him for a very long time, and this is a heartbreaking loss for many like me. I was devastated when I'd heard the news of his passing. My heart is with the Merrick family. R.I.P. :'(
Kenny Merrick was a beautiful soul to be around very generous and humble. He will be missed and he contributed alot to the powwow world.
Thanks for posting. I had known Jr for 40 years. We toured together on the American Indian Dance Theater and seen many places together. It is still hard to believe he has gone home. Awesome singer and composer and a great friend.
