It connects Joel's metaphors of swarming locusts and mass destruction with the pandemic, wildfires, hurricanes, and political unrest. Joel calls us to return to the Lord. Why? because things are bad, and God is good. When our hearts align with God's heart, the spirit of God flows and heals the world.
