    I do believe there is a dispensational change at the second coming of Christ. The Day of the Lord is the 70th Week of Daniel. The millennium is a separate and the final dispensation ending with the Great White Throne Judgement. I think what you are saying comes out of Schofield's Reference Bible. However, you are still appreciated and I am glad you chose to do Joel.

      John 5:24 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
      Notice it says "is" passed from death unto life, not "will" at some future point.
      John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
      John 6:47 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
      Notice all of these verse say "hath" (which means posses right now) everlasting life. If something is everlasting it means it never stops. The moment you trust Christ as your savior you receive everlasting life and can never lose it. Also notice in John 3:36 that those that haven't believed currently have the wrath of God abiding on them (the word abideth is in the present tense).

      @@jjsmoley thank you Jeffrey for your reply. To believe your teaching what would be the point of Jesus going to the cross etc if all a person need to do is believe. Also your would lead one to believe your sins are forgiven & you receive the Holy Ghost all at the same time and that’s not what scripture teaches.
      John 5:24 you’re taking the verse of scripture out of its context. This entire parable is dealing with the healing of a man on the Sabbath at the pool of Bethesda.
      Here’s the question what was the purpose of John the Baptizer, baptizing sinners Mark 1:4 “in short” for the remission of sins? So by you believing all and individual have to do is believe is a false doctrine. To further the point Baptist don’t believe that baptism is essential for salvation. Now you’re going to have to explain John 3:3-5 & Mark 16:18. The Jews also ask a question in Acts 2:37 what shall we do? Peter did not reply just believe in Jesus. vs38 then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. It explains what one must do, it also explains why it’s important to be baptized, it’s by Christ authority & it explains what a sinner will received once they are baptized: the gift of the Holy Ghost. And I might add they were still under the law. Also Christians can’t be saved under the Mosaic Law only those that received John baptism. Acts 19:1:4 explains the point. Those under John baptism had not even heard of what Paul was preaching.
      John 3:36 content starts at verse 22 it also gives content to verse 5 as well. Whoever believe in the Son has eternal life but whoever rejects the Son will not see life etc. what will a person be rejecting that he was the Son of God, the Jews thought Jesus as making himself equal with God/his complete message regarding his kingdom. Jesus teaching are not complete at this time to usher in his kingdom. No death, buried or resurrection, so how can a person just believe in the Christian dispensation and he had not gone to the cross? Reading Matthew 28:18 all authority given to Jesus etc 19: make disciples of all nation baptizing them. Vs20 teach them to obey EVERYTHING I have commanded you. Why would Jesus say everything which should lead you to believe it’s more than just believe to be saved.l, Belitung is apart of receiving salvation but their more. The book of Acts gives clear example how the Jews were added to the church. You would need to take away from the verse agree with your point. Then you would be in violation of Rev 22:18-19. You must be taught what to believe in outrider to be saved is what Peter explain in Acts 2:38.
      John 6:47 I’ll give you a better one verse 29 Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent. Jesus message was more then just believe that I am sure you would agree. You’re not continuing in the complete message Jesus taught his disciples. Luke 24:45-47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem.
      Their are no examples of and individual being saved by just believing. Under John baptism & the book of Acts demonstrates how sinners were added to the church in Acts 2:47 by following the examples in scripture rightly divided by doing things Gods way, the 3,000 souls were added to the church that Christ established. None of the verses of scripture you mentioned where we read that anyone being added to the Lords Church.
      What you are also implying a sinners sins will be forgiven & they will receive the Holy Ghost once they believe, what’s scripture saids that? Prove all things 1st Thess 5:21. What scripture teaches.
      If I were to follow your teaching on just believe. How would you explain James 2:19. Thou believest that there is one God: thou doest well: the DEVIL ALSO BELIEVE, and tremble.

      @@jjsmoley what form doctrine are you being taught? Jesus never taught a Baptist Doctrine John Smyth established the Baptist Church with no authorization from The Father, The Son or The Holy Ghost. The Baptist organization is a man made doctrine which has nothing to do with the apostles doctrine Peter told those Jews that gladly received the words Peter was preaching Acts 2:41-42.
      The Baptist Church was established by John Smyth in the early 1600’s in Amsterdam Holland. Wrong founder, wrong location & 1600 years after the original church. So how could you be saved? Jesus left no instructions fir what came after his ascension. What you’re believing in is a violation of 1st Cor 3:11, all these denominations have attempted to lay upon a foundation that have already been laid. You’re also I violation of 1st Cor 1:10 it would be impossible to speak the same thing, so the idea of the church coming is a fantasy. Catholic don’t believe what Baptist faith. Si how you one explain Ephesians 4:5 when it saids ONE FAITH? I just mentioned two so that three faiths right their. These facts cannot be ignored if you want heaven to be your home. The Bible does not make one a Baptist, Catholic, Methodist etc. The Bible makes Christians Acts 11:26. These denominations are all created by man which is Satan greatest deception Matthew 7:13-14 calls it the broad way.
      But for those that follow the apostles doctrine are saved in the one church Jesus’s established on the day of Pentecost. Right founder he now sits at the right hand of the Father Romans 8:34, right location Luke 24:47 & Acts 2 & taught the message his Father gave him. The Church Jesus established was located in Jerusalem, in AD33 & Jesus being the Head of the Church Colossians 1:17-18. And gave the right message John 12:49.

      @@coff2x387 Just believing that Jesus Christ existed is not enough. You need to believe that he paid for your sins by dying on the cross. In 1 Corinthians 15 it tells us what the Gospel is.
      1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
      Baptism always comes after believing. It's not a necessary step to salvation but rather an outward sign to others that you are now part of the Body of Christ.
      In Acts 16:30-31 the jailer asked what he must do to be saved. If it was more than just believing on Jesus Christ why didn't they tell him that? The only thing they told him was to believe.
      Acts:16
      30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
      31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
      Later on in the passage he and his household were baptized but this was already after they believed.
      In Abraham's day baptism wasn't even a thing yet and it says he was saved simply by believing.
      Romans 4
      1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
      2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
      3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
      Ephesians 2
      8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
      9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

      Jesus payed for every sin we have or ever will commit. As long as you accept the payment by believing that he died and rose again for your sins then you will have an everlasting life with him in heaven.
