The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. I counted 36 De Minaur points to 30 for Medvedev in this, and almost half of Daniil’s are in the last set. Nice job USTA.

They picked winners points as highlight, Medvedev had 11 aces in this match and he sometimes won because of opponent’s unforced errors. Those are not fun to watch 😅

Feels like De Minaur has a ton of ability but doesn’t know how to play steady Meddy. Medvedev’s pace is just so much slower than everyone else on your but he can almost always get the ball back and he’s fast. Just underestimated and different than others on tour. He’s hard to beat because of that.
I don't think this is true. At AO2022 his forehand avg km/h was faster than tsitsipas.
De Minaue is like a Lleyton Hewitt. He doesn’t have the firepower to consistently beat the top players. He relies too much on his wheels.

Plenty of players get by without a big forehand or backhand. He's an incredibly athletic and consistent player. Spectator opinions don't determine rankings. Results do.
