Holy Bambi I've been looking for this clip for years! Thank you so much for posting, and thank you SO much for cutting out those god awful cinema scenes. This is by far one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.
Gentle pretty thing Who only had one spring You bravely faced the world Ready for anything I'm happy that you lived For your life is mine What have I except to cry Spirit never die Birds of the air Beasts of the earth Overjoyed at Bambi's birth they gambolled in the glade [Chorus] Who killed Bambi? [x9] Murder murder murder Someone should be angry The crime of the century Who shot little Bambi Never trust a hippie 'Cause I love punky Bambi I'll kill to find the killer In that rotten roll army All the spikey punkers Believers in the ruins With one big shout They all cry out Who killed Bambi?
ha for the first time in my life i've seen the actual lyrics. i used to play the soundtrack to this movie all the time when i was in high school. loved this song, never caught all the words. thanks!!
Truly bizarre film, yet it seems all the punk ones are, but this scene was brilliant, this guy deserves a medal, genius scene, had it stuck in my head for ages now!
He's so fucking great. Really funny and jovial, with pure anarchic cheek - true punk in my eyes. Oh, and he once borrowed my lighter this year when I saw him live... It's so sad that I'm so fanboyish over that XD
Watched this for the 1st time in a very long time and anybody who is feeling fed up because of all the crap in the world this will put a smile on your face. Bloody class although many will think it’s crap, it’s sure to give you a laugh 😂
This film and Eat the Rich were formative influences. Ruined my life but what a laugh. For over thirty years every now and then a good solid chunk of who killed Bambi replays itself in my mind.
tenpole tudor had a really good and serious sorta rockabilly band called ''tenpole tudor'' i used to have a c.d. of everything they released and even some original 7'' records.then heroin happened haha. anyway im clean now and though i no longer have the albums i still remember all those songs.check em out. its really good shit!
for me he was the highlight of this mess of a film, this as well as his parts in the Swindle song make the film. i wish they had actually recorded a few tracks with him before completely disbanding.
Eddie Tudor's scene stealing the show and then the irreplaceable Irene Handl stealing the scene, "Oh shut up Tadpole, you'll give yourself a conniption.." Brilliant.
I watched this film yesterday and couldn't help but notice that Steve seemed to have a thing for wanting to kick Malcolm in some way or another. Can't say I blame him
Me and a friend took two lassies to see stiff little fingers, ed tudor pole was the support. Just him and a battered guitar with holes in it, singing utter Gibberish. Me and my mate were laighing like f*ck two Lassies just looked completely bewildered. Absolutely F*cking amazing night. Was glasgow barrowlands.

I was 10 then and hated bambi. I applied to play bass for tenpole Tudor after seeing an ad in sounds and melody maker. They never answered my application
Really driving me crazy, the intro to the song is from another film, and I swear the music is based on another piece, anyone know where those bits of music are from?
LAUGH AT THE BIT WHEN DEAR OLD IRENE HANDL SAYS OH SHUT UP TADPOLE YOU,LL GIVE YOURSELF A CONNECTION FIT R.I.P IRENIE X❤
This mIght be. ....no. This IS the best part of the film! Fuckin classic

Still find away to put This song from the soundtrack

It was the bit that we all remembered. Eddy was meant to be a Cameo part but he stole the show.
Along with the line. "Oh shut up Tadpole."

Tenpole Tudor was and is so underrated.
He's brilliant live
I have made it my mission to introduce everyone I befriend to them haha
Absolutely. Some of the live performance videos on here don't do his sound justice. Love him !!!!
Natural born face expression ability, I would say:)
Tempole Tudor.
A voice that could reduce "Scarborough Fair" to a crowd chant!!!

Brilliant lyrics. Tenpole wrote them.
Tenpole was a one off ... extraordinary individual. .I was a teenager when they were popular.. even better now watching his vids ..very underrated.
Ed Tudor-Pole, heir of an old English noble family, is one of my favorite (Punk-)Rock bandleaders ever.
*Olde English 😂
He was cool in The Crystal Maze too.

I still sing this out loud. Got my daughter singing it when she was 10!
Truly bizarre film, yet it seems all the punk ones are, but this scene was brilliant, this guy deserves a medal, genius scene, had it stuck in my head for ages now!
He was a smashing substitute Crystal Maze presenter in the 90s, Ed Tudor Pole.
He's so fucking great. Really funny and jovial, with pure anarchic cheek - true punk in my eyes. Oh, and he once borrowed my lighter this year when I saw him live... It's so sad that I'm so fanboyish over that XD
Please tell me it was a zippo lighter and not a bloody plastic throwaway one?! 😆
Who else thinks Ed looks like Peter Capaldi
Joe Marcus shit he does
Yeah.. I do!
He does 🤣
AYE HE DOES
A lot of Who fans want Ed as the next Dr.

TenPole Tudor is hilarious!

My dad is making me a venison curry for dinner tomorrow night. When I asked where he got the meat he just sent me a link to this.

"Oh, shaddap, Tadpole!" 😭😂. Poor Eddie. I love him so much ❤
If the Sex Pistols had continued after John Lydon this guy would’ve been the lead singer.
I think he did, for about 3 weeks.
Possibly the greatest thing ever filmed.
Bambi lies dead, buried deep within The Crystal Maze under the blazing hot sand of Aztec Zone.
I loves me a bit of Tadpole. Without doubt the funniest scene in a very funny film. Oh, and by the way, never trust a hippie!
for me he was the highlight of this mess of a film, this as well as his parts in the Swindle song make the film. i wish they had actually recorded a few tracks with him before completely disbanding.
No, he's completely normal. It's everyone else that's bonkers. ;)
Eddie Tudor's scene stealing the show and then the irreplaceable Irene Handl stealing the scene, "Oh shut up Tadpole, you'll give yourself a conniption.." Brilliant.
Still blows my fucking mind. 🖤🖤🖤

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wonderful who killed bambi - brilliant movie
In 1981 he turned up at the Dog and Pheasant in Brook. He came in a Roller with chauffeur.
El tiempo da la razon a los sex pistols y sus componentes , tambien sus reuniones conciertos etc...
What makes him so great is knowing that he is a direct descendant of both Geoffrey Chaucer and King Henry VIII, lord luv 'im.
Love this film! This bit is like a Vic & Bob sketch. :-)
Delightfully insane
European culture's finest hour
Genial !!

If I ever need to torture a captive with music, this song on a 10 hour loop should do the trick

When he says "Irene" after an early chorus....
Was this the “Bollocks” Sid and Johnny were on about? Seems likely.
I was 10 then and hated bambi. I applied to play bass for tenpole Tudor after seeing an ad in sounds and melody maker.

Really driving me crazy, the intro to the song is from another film, and I swear the music is based on another piece, anyone know where those bits of music are from?

I love him so much.

AHH IRENIE HANDEL BLESS HER LOVE THAT BIT WHEN SHE SAYS, OOH SHUT UP TADPOLE CAN ANYONE REMEMBER WHEN SHE WAS IN METAL MICKEY?
To those asking - it was Godzilla. Anyone remember the uber-short cartoon 'Bambi vs. Godzilla' - featured on ... The Kenny Everett show, I think?
... and indeed it is available to watch here on CZcams.
+Herbert Do what?
+Mark Kent
Search 'Bambi vs Godzilla' here on CZcams. It's a short animation made in the '60s.
+Herbert I saw it animated in ASCII from a DECUS distro tape

To borrow a phrase - Do what?
Haha! That sounds a bit technical to me but - nice one, all the same, mate.
