I wanted to move to something more electric but ethereal, metallic, and glassy. I thought this came out neat. SOMA Terra SOMA Pulsar-23 SOMA RoAT SOMA Cosmos SOMA Pipe
Thanks for lending me your ear, YeLLGo! I'm experimenting with some new instrument combos, particularly the Enner and Cosmos, at the moment. I have an Electroacoustic instrument on order in Italy that I think you are gonna dig when I get it in hand. Says late August for delivery :)
Hey LBZ! I had been getting a bit too chaotic with stuff I have been working on recently. I want to step back and focus more on the "ambient" side of things again. This was a fun exploration/sound design session. Felt a little nice not focusing on the low end as much as my usual haha Thanks for watching!
It has a lot of depth! I just need to spend some quality time with it. I'm really considering a small sabbatical from recording, so I can just work on patches haha. I am actually looking forward to bringing my stregas back into the rig to patch into the Pulsar at some point. I've been messing with gear combinations, but damn is it hard not to not want to touch everything lmao
Hey Bexiexz! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm usually crafting with much lower frequencies, but it's a lot of fun working in the glassier side of sound from time to time. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Somnambule! I have roughly a 4 octave range from bass to mid, and I'd like to improve it. Eventually I'm gonna move away from the contact mouthpieces and just rely on a dynamic or cardioid mic, as the dynamics and clarity is much improved. I am really partial to the flat response contact mic with the pipe, as it's almost as clear as an external microphone.
Perfect, crystal clear, the sound comes across perfectly Abyss👌🎧✨🤍💫
