Escape from Tarkov is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game in development by Battlestate Games for Windows. A closed alpha test of the game was first made available to select users on 4 August 2016, followed by a closed beta which has been running since July 2017.
The game is set in the fictional Norvinsk region, where a war is taking place between two private military companies (United Security "USEC" and the Battle Encounter Assault Regiment "BEAR"). Players join matches called "raids" in which they fight other players and bots for loot and aim to survive and escape; dying results in the loss of all items the player used and found during that raid with few exceptions.

Especially in Canada right now with our gun bans going on. It raised the price of everything else that's still available. And the mosin is no exception, it's easily 500 cad but to the credit of the retailers, you sometimes you get nice slings, bayonets or buttstock mounted ammo pouches with them but generally if you want a shiny/good condition mosin then around 500 cad is usually what you're paying. It's a nice platform though.

The Finnish army has also used until recently RK-62 (they added a skeletonised folding stock on the RK-95 and a similar attachment for optics as in the AK, rifle grenade operation and a compensator for some specific units, but that's it). The only thing pretty much that RK-62 did differently to AK was improved sights (the back sight into aperture, a diopter, and set way back on the top cover so every soldier could fire accurate shots with the cost of quick sight picture and following a moving target). Well and wooden furniture changed into plastic and the stock was simplified. The iron sights first got phosphorus dots for night shooting and then small drilled holes filled with tritium and these were installed so that you flip the back sight around and they are located on the open sight's fork and similarly flipping a pole on the front brings up a night dot. Many gun people have praised RK to be maybe the best AK variant and it has been successful in UN target shooting competitions as well. Currently they're modernising the existing Finnish military rifles with attachment rails and a telescopic stock.
Israel liked the RK so much they used it as a base for Galil. These two variations/adaptations just emphasize how good the design on the AK really was.
