Rob, I say this with no malice. You've been making a ton of videos....And I like watching all of them. But don't overdo your voice. Your quality isn't slipping from the quantity, but you don't want to put yourself in a position where you just can't physically do your videos. That being said....Everyone that reads my comments knows that I have a deep, abiding dislike for the work Geoff Johns has been doing in recent years. But....He got to where he is for a reason....His work on Green Lantern was groundbreaking and brought life to a franchise that before he took over it....Was on the verge of just being dumped. And he brought respect to Hal Jordan again. His stories are a great jumping off point, indeed. And the new Green Lanterns stories are awesome!! DC has done great work with Rebirth! Can't wait to see what happens next. And it's been a long time since I could say that. Feel better soon, man. Take laryngitis seriously....I had it and tried to fight through it (I had a job as a telephone operator at the time) and my voice has never sounded the same since. Be careful and use your power wisely. Peace.

Rob, you could read the phone book and I'd stay engaged. Great video as always my man. Seeing that I'm a big IDW fan, I was wondering if you'd ever touch on Ghostbusters, Locke & Key, TMNT and Transformers just to name a few. Especially the annual company wide Infestation event. I'm sure you can't cover it all, but I'd be happy with table scraps at this point.

Never been a huge GL fan but I really like Simon and Jessica, they have a great chemistry and it feels good discovering more about them as they evolve as a team. Looking forward to more of them, please cover more.

Hey Rob, I love that you are posting your video schedules. I love to read the subjects beforehand and then here your breakdowns. None of my friends are comic people so this is the closest to "comic talk" I get to have in my day to day, thanks for everything.

Rob! For your throat/voice, eat bananas, honey, marsh mallow root products (not Jet Puffed, the real plant root), and Throat Coat tea (from Traditional Medicinals; you can get that at Vons or Ralphs). These will help a lot, but if you're in a pinch and need something last minute, grab some whiskey--particularly bourbon. The alcohol will help relax the vocal folds, while the phenolic compounds, or whiskey tannins, have tested antioxidant and anticancer qualities. Acidity can also contribute to throat irritation. Try adding lemon wedges to your water or tea. It sounds counter intuitive, but your body processes it into Alkaline. This will help balance your body chemistry and lessen aggravation in your digestive system.

It's only when you've lost everything that you gain everything. For me I personally like the idea of Jessica even though she gets on my nerves as a character stereotype. I think she will eventually gain one of the strongest will powers. Once you've lost everything you gain a true sense of what's important to you and who you really are and what you can really do.

A lot of people have thought they can't do anything because of a break up or because they had a problem with their parents? What are you talking about? That's a little different than all your friends being murdered in front of you. I feel like that indicates worse mental damage if a minor thing causes the same level of anxiety as your friends being murdered in front of you.

They didn't actually drive away the Red Lanterns in this story. Atrocitus had Simon beat easily and could've put Jessica down as well if he had decided to. The reason that the Red Lanterns left is because they had successfully planted the rage seed deep in the Earth and the Hell Tower was no longer needed. So even though the Hell Tower was destroyed, it had already accomplished it's purpose. Atrocitus was more like "ok, let's get outta here, mission accomplished", he wasn't retreating temporarily because of how formidable Simon and Jess are. At some point this story is going to continue whenever this Rage Seed grows into whatever it's supposed to be.
Just a nit picky thing, maybe I misunderstood what I read but that's what I took from it. It is a great story though, no arguing that one.

god they made the red lanterns into such pushovers. you know for a story about the return of the red lanterns they sure do spend a lot more time focusing on the new kids. for once I would like to see them (RLanterns) win something, I see what's Rob was talking about when DC said they didn't know what to do with red lanterns.

I think that the phantom ring is an emotion based ring that selects a certain emotion from the emotional spectrum based on what your strongest emotion that you have inside you.
+ Sam Mc no dude in issue 8 it's explained that anyone can hold the ring and it has all the emotional spectrum in it even death and life that's what makes it so dangerous
