Shit made no sense why he didn't extend that combo longer. If he was debuffed why risk being so basic to not get the kill. He needed a sliver which he could've got by doing a basic vanish route. He gave it up

When youre in tournament in top 8 with all the nerves, its a good call to just be safe and get a super out to kill quick. unfortunately this backfired because of the 21 debuff. otherwise it would have killed and he would have had less chance to choke and drop a combo.

Really hard to really care about a "competitive" game until labcoat 21 is balanced or straight up banned. I appreciate that there is an upcoming balance patch but with it still being like a month away thats pretty insulting with just how broken she is. Theres a reason she is completely separate from the other DLC packs
It is not that serious, you can still get better at the game and for a while a bunch of community tournament runners have been banning her. She's banned for heatwave from bum and ceo as well.

@@josephfarraj8687 a character doesn’t carry because they cover each other’s weaknesses. To do genuine damage required optimisation and for strings it’s more situational. Chastising the usage of 21 is justifiable only in certain areas( debuff(4 invulnerability),non protected unblockable 214 and 236l and M) and I wouldn’t see that as a bad view to say she does carry a team. But I highly disagree with the fusion carries. If someone makes a well-built team and everyone starts using I guess ppl think that equates to being broken

Yasha popularized double fusions in tournament and now everyone uses it and does well. The idea of playing whoever you want kinda dies down when everyone just plays fusions and 21’s together. And yeah the synergy is so good with them together too, that’s why it’s so popular. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if everyone and their mother didn’t have a double fusion on their team just because one top player won with it.

They tend to fixate themselves within playing effective with minimal skill ( hence why the American that do fusion guys rarely attempt to be optimal and the same applies with 21( like I think only nitro out of the Americans was trying to be optimal at the very least with her)) and by associating yourself like that, simply means you’ve got no ground or character as a player to hold your ground unless someone does the job for you first. And honestly if people tried to even be more creative and into game theories ( not everything has to be true mix), we’d be seeing a lot more creative stuff. Use zane, yasha, kayne as good examples ( Even NYchris) of what picking non-meta teams can do to be good ( but then again they just end up copying the team ( especially with yasha))

DBFZ has never seen a character more broken than labcoat. Im convinced Bandai released her to nerf Yasha since he was so dominant. Without Labcoat he's the clear best player, but Pred's defense was unlike anything i've ever seen, imo even better than Go1 cause Yasha's mixes are way more advanced then what he blocked. Would love to see a rematch between Yasha and Pred without Shitcoat. But Pred deserves it today he played incredible.

Nitro vs Zane was the most annoying match to watch... On top of the constant debuff, Zane is always running the clock with Zamasu flight, what a lame match but oh well.
