- Now that April has arrived, I feel it is time to share the news about our beloved Shepherd, Remi who left us before Christmas. She would have turned 13 this month. Remi brought so much joy to everyone she met. She was Shawn’s best friend from the day we brought her home and never took her eyes off him. This was a dog who wanted nothing more than to be a good girl. She never tested, never took a wrong step. From the first day we met her to the day we said goodbye she was perfect.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Remi was loved by millions of people that never even got to meet her. But she became part of entire families that watched her on Heartland. Love and will miss you, Remi..RIP, you were a beautiful and always good girl!
There is little as heartbreaking as the loss of our beautiful furbabies. I believe that Remi was greeted with joy and love by those who crossed before❤️🐾🙏
I am so sorry to hear of Remi's passing. How blessed you were to have her. And how blessed she was to have you. The phrase "it's a dog's life" has the connotation of being a wonderful life. What a great life you both gave Remi. She'll always be in your heart. ❤️
Not going to lie here but soon as I got the nitice fir this I had to see it all the way through even tho I knew I'd choke up and cry I had to brave it seeing Remi all those years on Heartland was a way for us all to kinda feel like she was part of our individual families too as well as the cast of the show Amber I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about your friend I know what it's like tho two years ago I had to say goodbye to my little fur baby Roxy she was a Boston terrior and her and I would actually sit down together and watch your show if she wasn't being lazy and snoozing that is but again I am sorry for you and your family's loss sending hugs

Brings tears to my eyes hearing about the passing of Remi. I am a "dog lover" who has had several dogs pass in my presence over the years. Dogs are so special! A dog is the only thing on earth that will gladly trade his life for yours. You two were lucky to have Remi in your life for so many years.

Thank you for sharing. She was loved by all, I know it's hard on Shaun to lose her. We just lost my husband of 35 years, our puppy loved my husband his almost 2. His a bull mastiff, he and my husband played all the time. Both were large, but now his lost without him. You can see it in his eyes.

I'm very sorry for all the lives Remi touched and are Heartbroken that She is gone. ❤ What a beautiful Dog and sentiment. Some Dogs are very special to be Loving, protective and well behaved. And to Love and touch everyone all around them. Clearly from the pictures Remi did just that. What more could you ask of such a Faithful Companion 😢

What a beautiful girl Remi was. I said when I get a dog I must name her after China or remi. She is playing up there with China now and gilman and all the others. I look forward to your photos now you are back and updates on the farm. I did notice one of your friends had puppies for sale so maybe one day you welcome a new best friend. I love Remi and I watch heartland so much so I've seen Remi grow up on the farm from the very first day with Georgie and they were perfect!!!!!❤ I love all the actors and the horses cat dog chickens and all the other cool thangs that are on the farm ❤ I can't wait to see the session 15 and 16

I think losing our fur babies is one of the most difficult things in life. They give love unconditionally, and are our emotional supports. We just lost our dear cat, Maxx, in February and there is not a day that goes by that we don't think of him. I truly believe that we will see our beloved pets in Heaven, one day. Rest in the arms of Jesus Remi. So sorry for your loss, Amber. 😥

I think your video of Remi was very well done what a great tribute I don’t know of anything that hurts more than losing a free pet like a dog it’s it’s tough. My thoughts are with you and Shawn. Hopefully you have great memories for always. It’s it’ll be tough to get over but with all the other Ferb friends that you have you got a Lotta love to go around and you’ll always have memories. I know how you feel. My VA support dog is now 13 years young. He has arthritis really bad and I need to give him his meds twice a day to control his pain. Amber, I am so, so sorry about Remi🐕🦺 passing away🙏😔. She was such a beautiful dog and I have often wondered how she was going. I remember the first time we saw her on 'Heartland' and how 'Georgie' had found her and took her in. How they both ended up in the well and 'Ty' helped her. I used to love seeing her on your back seat as you did your rambling rides. Or see her run along as you rode.
