I liked the old version better tbh but there’s some good changes that came like artist stickers being free now but gems are harder to get now
yes I agree that some changes are good, but I'd say 70% of the update is a big no :/

Honestly I think coins are harder to get compared to gems
The memory catchers are also hard to earn too, unless you have R graded cards or above to sell, but you can only sell 30 cards at a time

I played like 2 games and immediately uninstalled it. I had this game since its release and I really got into it this year. Its sad to let go like this but my pea brain cant handle the varying speed of the notes. Im trying to salvage the situation by watching a lot of guide videos tho lol

I haven't uninstalled it, but... man the gameplay SUCKS now. I used to be able to get multiple perfect hits on hard mode. Now? I barely manage to clear anything in hard mode wtf. Like, I had a recording of Silver Spoon by BTS on hard mode in the old version and the difference in smoothness is so visible. Whenever it gets too fast the new gameplay style doesn't seem able to handle your touch input. I hope they fix it asap.
@@shanamoens822 Yeah a company doesn't just change the entire gameplay and UI of a game without any gradual process. That's a recipe for getting rid of players. We had to lose all our perfect hit songs for this stupid gameplay, which sucks ass. I hope they either scrap this season and bring back just the gameplay and our highscores along with it, but that's probably too much to ask.

For those of y’all that still want to exp cards by their theme. I found out that you can still filter out all the members from the specific group you are currently exping cards from. I personally like doing this so i can know what cards i have and don’t have but it is quite a long process.
How do you do it
I was surprised to open it one day and see everything changed, this guide is really helpful. I wish there was a way to have a plain lobby skin and I miss the separation of groups so much 😔
I personally think merging all groups together is bs , for example if I want to draw a member of a certain group , it will be like A LOT harder now
On the other hand , it helps to get to know all four groups and Stan them + discover new music

@@yepyep7737Honestly I just want to play with Enhypen and TXT. I’m not even interested in other groups (I refer in the game). In other hand, newjeans and lesserafim cards are so difficult to get :/
I played this game for 3 months and my sister played it for 2 years. This update could've had it's own app called Rhythm Hive 2. Knowing this is a game developer who never listens to the community, I am not that shocked they would make a stupid decision like this. It's like seeing your childhood house get demolished after getting a notice that your childhood house will become a parking lot for a gas station.
Another problem I have has nothing to do with the developers but, the people who judge you negatively for not liking the update. That is a 3rd grader mindset if I do say so myself. Their ratings dropped on both the App Store and Play Store. I definitely predicted that to happen. I hope they listen to their people and bring what was once one of the best K-pop rhythm games back. There is no way to play the older versions since they only run on Wi-Fi and an active server.
Ninja Kiwi (a game developer) and HYBE IM are not comparable game developers. For example, Ninja Kiwi who made Bloons TD6 actually listens to their people and manages to achieve top rated and paid games on several platforms. HYBE IM I heard, does not listen to their people and you get things like "paid gems." There are some things they listen to and make better but, those bad things severely outweigh the good things. As if paid gems wasn't enough to get the apocalypse going.
I always question if they even listen to people while working on an update because it seems like they release the update and then choose to listen or ignore critics after they release it. This is just my theory though.
For anyone wondering how many times you have would have to pull to at least get the member of your choice from any group it would be one in 37 because of the combining I really hope they can change this in the game.
You would also have to pull 4- 10 draws and it’s literally impossible unless you’re saving up.

i miss the old version but like the current beatmaps 😭 the merged cards draw, collection, and challenges are so annoying

srsly tho, i hope they make it so that there's still merged cards draw + challenges and at the same time separate ones for each grp.. it'll take up more storage tho 😩
tysm! I played this sometime ago and re downloading it to see a massive change was a shocker! It’s late I missed the fact we could just choose a group and then lead to switch because now I get cards of trips I don’t necessarily want and it’s harder to get cards for the boy group I want.
I was gone for a month and when I decided I wanted to play again I came back to a whole new game bru im so bad now😭😭

I don't like this changes. I love ryhtm games and rythm hive was my favorite becouse I remembered evry beat map that I like (mostly from TXT) and I was good at this. I was beating chapters. I got stuck at lvl 45 in chapter 1 but I was trying to unlock 30 or 40 lvl in chapter 5 to unlock super hard version of run away. And what I got now?!?!?
I opened app and I was like: OOo they finnnaly changes this start screen. But when I saw that they from game with orginal techniqe of playing do PJSK 2.0 I got so mad

i played rhythm hive for a bit to ease myself after the cookie run collab w/ bts ended (they used to have a rhythm mini game during the collab), i just reinstalled the game again and it felt completely new SKJFDSKDFJAK
hey i love this video it was very helpful i kind of like the new update but the only thing that is not my liking is the card drawing because you can only draw from all groups and this is a problem for some people cuz if you was focused on one group you can't get the cards from the group you want and that is something that i dont like i hope they change it that you can choose from what group you want to draw but other than that the update is fine
Yes! And I also really wanna do two groups in a diary but I don't think I can
I can't deal with this version so i uninstall it after a few tries. Now it just add all groups together, the cards are also mixed n I don't know what most of these features are for. It's too much i guess??? The rating also dropped from 4.5 to 4.1 stars.

Like i have seen people playing the game with an idol saying things when playing the arcade and I wanna know how to do it. Its fine if you dont know but can u help 😭😭

I may be new to this game (its been almost 2 month's since i downloaded this game), but it is quite fun!. Sure, the arcade games are a bit difficult but, its addicting in my opinion, also the fact that lesserafin update is also here makes it better!. No matter what was in this game before its update, its still a VERY attracting and exciting game :).
at first I was v stressed but after a week or so I honestly started enjoying the game again :) I admit that I play way less than before, but i still like the game !
I also love the fact they're also adding HYBE ggs !! definitely makes the game more exciting

For the beginner quest, you have to EXP a card using EXP cards:
Performance Card > EXP Up > Choose a card > on top right you can read "Card" and "EXP Card", you have to click on "EXP Card" > and use it to EXP Up

I mean i have A cards but i didn't get to upgrade them and when i saw in the collection book it only shows cards that are the highest... does that mean that i get to trade or sell that A card?? I mean.. is it worth it to upgrade that card even if i have a XR already?? I hope you understand my question bc i even don't know how to explain it😅

If you are not going to use those A cards OR if you have equipped stronger cards, I suggest trading those A cards or selling them !
I personally focus on 1 theme so I am planning to Upgrade only that and sell/trade cards that I will not use.

same... I liked when we could play by themes, but now you play w the highest card you have :/ I'm personally going to choose 1 theme that I like the most and stick to it, and Upgrade those cards the most

yes I suggest keeping the cards you like (preferably of the same theme) and focus mainly on them.
Idk if you are familiar with the Superstar games, but it's very similar to that; the game automatically equips the strongest cards, so I would just focus on a theme and Upgrade that !

Wait do you know how long we’re able to keep mics for? Like for example there’s the new live theme (the signing one) and I’ve opened quite a few card packs and have obtained quite a sum of mics but I don’t want to spend it just yet 😭

I unequipped a beomgyu performance card to change it into another and it wont let me idk how to equip it now 😭 (im also new to rhythm hive I got it 3 days ago)
How to manually equip cards:
Performance Cards > select the card that is Equipped > Unequip > then select the card you want to equip > Equip
it's a v weird system, I had to exit the Performance Cards menu a few times for it to finally show me the "Equip" option lol

I had some cards equipped but I accidentally unequipped them and I think I used them to Upgrade as a mistake... and even if they aren't in my Performance Cards, they still appear in my Collection Book...
Idk why that happenes tbh, I started writing down my cards in an excel file to avoid accidentally selling/using for upgrades cards that I need

you get collection tickets with rewards of the Collection Book (7:53, you can win those by Upgrading Cards and then clicking "accept all").
you can get diamonds by Quests, Attendance etc, but paid diamonds are exclusively the diamonds you purchased

Gems and Music Points can be purchased or collected through Quests and Attendance. You can also find them in Hiver Gift Boxes (Card Shop > Item Exchange > Miscellaneous)

To get higher level cards you have to EXP Up and then Upgrade them

it really depends on your personal taste tbh. I personally used to prefer Superstar, but now I prefer Rhythm Hybe

Uhmm it shows all the cards avaiable for Upgrading, but it does not show the equipped and the locked cards. If you're afraid to lose cards I suggest locking up the cards

hi! Blue Marines can be used in the Shop (Shop > Blue Marine Vol.1 > Card Exchange / Item Exchange)

How do you get collection tickets?
You get them by upgrading XR cards !
Steps:
You upgrade some cards > Collection book > Artist > Select the group and artist you Upgraded > Performance Cards > Accept all your rewards
How do you get the enhypen tickets for the backgrounds and stuff
you get tickets with rewards of the Collection Book (7:53, you can win those by Upgrading Cards and then clicking "accept all")
