According to the educator, who goes by JaQ Lee on TikTok, he decided to live stream a group of his students unbraiding his hair ahead of his scheduled hair appointment at a hair salon.

He was so wrong , why would he even be doing his hair , when he should be teaching the students 🤔.
It’s too bad that he lost his job but he put himself in the position for anything to go wrong no matter how innocent that his intentions were. Too many wrong possibilities could have came from this.
I don’t think he should be fired but he should be disciplined in house… the way faculty-student are set up today… it’s a HARD NO for me to prevent any remotely appearing as inappropriate

He's attractive and I didn't have teachers that look like him growing up. The male teachers I had was balding with big bellies and nose hair 😅! I don't think it was worth firing him over. Maybe next position he'll stay away from little girls.

Imma be real I thought he was 🌈. I think the video actually helped him because imagine hearing the story and no video to back it. The parents probaly know what kind of teacher he is. I was a teacher for a long time and I was also a hair braider. So I can see it from both sides. What if it was a woman getting her hair taking down? I think that’s why we lack male African American teachers too because of the stigma surrounding it.
