My 5th year old daughter love this song like or more than me. Obviously i wanted to hear this song many times, my head reproduce it in my head everynight at all time in the day, when i was driving, when i was working... For my the Dogs Days are a representation of the slavery days in the work... I work for my father and my Mother, i work for my sister and my brother, i work for my Daughter and (if in the future there are a boy coming) for the future me.
Run Fast for leave the dogs days behind, for the happiness of live other day, for have food in the table, for other day with my dad and mom alive with me. I have 33 and i don't want a world without them in my life. But the life, the world is going on, the Earth continues turning in a storm of happiness, rage, crying, laught, and joy. The life can be 1 day or 105 years... Maybe you can live all suffering and never meet the happiness for stand in a war zone... For this you must run for all this.

I will be a life long F&M fan after I saw her singing to a very sick teen in the hospital, singing from her soul. I’ve never been more moved by an artist
I remember listening to the original video for the first time when it only just had 3.000 views!!!!,I listened to it for about a week non stop and I'm glad to see how popular her music now is as she's an absolutely fantastic artist,despite me liking all of her other songs this is still my favourite one by a long way,it's nice to see that in Florence and Adele that there is still some proper musical talent that is appreciated for what it is.

the dog days refer to the portion of the summer months where sirius (the dog star found throughout many ancient cultures as representing the star of david, kolob, kachina, star of isis/shiva) is particularly close ushering in the hottest days of the year. this song has many apocalyptic resonances. "the horses are coming" is the four horsemen of armageddon
This was such a beautiful find. So quirky, so raw, so amateur - it holds the shaky and strange spirirt of the song so much better than the big-budget version. Many of those videos feel disjointed from the song - this is a creation I could aspire to rise to, and that makes it all the more inspirational and relateable.

I fell in love with her music with this song as soon as it was released and I have lived every single song since. Absolutely iconic!!
This the was the only music video I ever had on my iPod (4th gen) but due to a glitch it only played to the half way point. I spent nearly five years of my life not knowing how it ended...until today! I really like the ending, it was kind of what I always wanted it to end like. Thank you so much Florence for inspiring my childhood!

Florence and the Machine have been my favorite since my shitty days in my first year at university last semester. Their music just brought me up from such unhappy places so now when I hear it, I think of how much I hated the girl I was living with (who now is my best friend on this entire planet) and how much I wanted to be home, and now all I want is to stay here. Forever.
It reminds me that at that time in life, I was at my lowest point, and music was my rock. Now it's my best friend :)

Much prefer this version of the video. It's done on the cheap in a forest - no studios, no expensive camera equipment, so relies more on imagination and what can be done for no money. The later version (funded by a big record company) loses all heart
