Try to reach your hands away from you, like your feet and hands are magnetic, being drawn together. Walking your hands/fingers along the thighs can be a little bit helpful too. Try a small pillow or towel underneath your sticky spot and press into it as you roll up. Also, you can get great help and feedback from using a resistance band…place it under/around your arches, choke up on the band with your hands and get a good grip, and then let the band help you up. Hands down the sides for this, not overhead.
What do we do if we literally cannot get up without the use of our arms to help us up? I’ve tried over and over, but I cannot roll up without using my arms to help…I’m guessing my abdominals are just too weak to even do this.
I would suggest only doing the roll down part or not rolling down all the way. In The beginning it is easier to roll down than roll up, since you have to fight gravity less and can choose how far down you go. You could only roll down just as far as You think you will still have the strength to roll up. Repeat this a few times. After a while you will notice how you built enough strength to roll down and up farther and farther until you can roll up all the way from the floor.

Then try a different workout that's easier, or try to find an easier variation of this one, I'm pretty sure there is one
