I'm just sitting here hoping that natural beauty will come back into trend
Lead the way đ
I feel like gen z is really pushing for this. Natural hair (not just African American hair, but someoneâs hair in its natural state) is more trendy.
"Trends are for the anxious" ~ John Maclean. Do you. Coz if/when that trend comes around, it too will go away. Keeping up is impossible and not worth it. Personality stands out more.
Iâm 44 years old and it has never been a trend in my life time.

Influencers have no power without an audience. Maybe the masses are to blame for being so manically obsessed with celebs and superficiality.
Say louder.
Way to deflect đ©
Hello đ how are you doing?
They are. We have a bad habit about making talentless, useless people rich and famous. What's funny is people like Kim K used to be mocked by hollywood because they were famous for being famous. Yet all this new "influencer" stuff is basically a kim k/paris hilton era on steroids.
This!!!
One episode Kim talked about how saggy Krisâs ears were and Kris went and got her ears done. Theyâre all so critical of each other itâs sad
How can ears be saggy ???
Yes and itâs so easy for them to get things done, not a big effort
@@scorchwave6439 the earlobe can sag. Especially if you wear bigger earrings a lot
@@wyett123 my mom does
Kim's face sagged for saying that to evil Madame Kris. Kim ended up with a face lift. AND the scars are by Kim's EARS now. Ha haha đđ It's true FACT.
When I met my husband a few years back I asked him who his favorite Kardashian was? (In his heavy southern accent) "Whats a Kardashian?" He literally had never heard of them. Guess what? He spent 25 years as a fisherman in the middle of the ocean. đ True Story.
My little brother didnât know who the Jenner girls were about 5 years ago. Of course he knows now bc theyâve propelled into the spotlight like their older sisters.

Omg! I absolutely love it.
It's bizarre that Kylie and Kendall started out Caucasian and now look more East Indian than I do.

Ha!
Sooo damn true!!

Everything I know about the Kardashians I learned against my will.
Same, I donât know why they always pop up on my news feed. Or reels

At first I was like u, then I got a morbid curiosity and sorta Stockholm syndrome when I began to watch and enjoy their shows. They are fraudsters and scammers and overall shitty ppl, but u gotta admit they know how to grab our attention

Same! Lol
As a hairstylist⊠working in the beauty industry. I am shocked by how many of my clients have had cosmetic procedures or plastic surgery and STILL arenât happy with their bodies. Itâs incredibly sad. I try really hard in my industry to lift these women up and try to help them see what I see. That they are beautiful.
I feel like super rich surgeons (especially male ones) donât have that mindset at all which is why it keeps continuing
Yes. Agreed. The cosmetic procedures and surgeries are sure signs of unrealistic expectations which will always produce sadness.
I've got a rather large nose , very thick wirerly curl in my unmanagle hair. No matter what ...it never looks brushed. Gotta keep it rather short . Straigtner splits it quickly. Have bad skin completion also. I've even been made fun of all my life. It hurts. But I say....God don't make ugly people. I'm really the way I'm suppose to look. That's the way it is. I accept me. I'm not a bad thing . People that think I'm ugly or people that act like Kim are bad things. I want to be physically prettier but I can't let others ruin my life , which I just about did when I was much younger. I was more sad with no self esteem as a teenager and young woman. But now....it's about me and my positive mental health....that's real beauty right there. Kim probably does Botox on her bun hole after hair removal on it and bleaching it after her vaginal steam baths . Maby she needed that tho...after 3 sex tapes. That's alot for a KARDASHIAN TO KEEP UP WITH. KUWTK !!!**. No thank you . I'm a American woman not a self made FrankenKim. / Frankenstein. OR Dracula like Madame Kris The Piss Jenner is. OR the Mummy like Khloe wrapping her life up in bad men choices . Or Kylie the Werewolf howling about her cheap llipstick kits to sale . Did I leave the invisible man out ? .That would be Kaitlynn Jenner , now she's sueing Bruce Jenner for molesting her for years . Did you Ever watch the old horror movie The Blob ...that's Rob. Kourtney The Riddler from Batman cause shes so indecisive . OR LORD Scott Dissick from Drunken Castle/ a.k.a. The Joker. Then Blac China ....done cracked all the china in her cabinet / and they say black don't crack huh ? Isn't Chyna's mom on crack ? Sure acts like she is. Pete the Skeet ...OK Skeeter takes penicillin for his Peter after being with Kim. Kanye The Klown spelled with a K. Acts like a Bozo when off his clown medication. Kendell well....she's just jet lagged !!!**
Because they are using the wrong remedy. The more money you have the more surgeries you will fancy you need. No amount of procedures can fix mental dysmorphia - their problem is cognitive not physical. What stuns me is that they keep making the mistake over and over, this surgery to fix the last one, one more to make my chin smaller, there's no end .... and somehow it doesn't dawn on them that the medical method doesn't suit the psychological injury. They should have headed for the psychiatrist's office instead.
I genuinely cannot believe anyone would spend money on Kardashian skincare products.
morals over money!
I love how you compared their body shape to a logo, itâs so true
I had never necessarily put it in that specific of terms in my own mind but as soon as she said that I went "YUP! That's exactly what it is. A logo!"
Yeah at least these woman do not have eating disorders and have more of a womanly shape instead of looking like a child.
I think they have several eating disorders amongst them. Kendall said she drinks six mugs of dieters tea a day⊠That stuff is a laxative and it dehydrates you so⊠It matters not what they say seriously.
Then the kardashians owe me. Money đŠđ°đ”đ”đ°they didnât ask me to to use my. Body shape for their logo lol đ

Iâve dealt with acne since I was 11 years old, and recently at almost 19 years old I have some breakouts but now I mainly have scars. You have made me feel so good about myself and you just give me a lot of reassurance about who I STILL am despite any skin problems. Thank you
I wish I lived in a boat, in the middle of the ocean, chilling with the dolphins and wearing SPF with no access to the internet just so I wouldnt know who the kardashians are
I only knew kim k as paris' assistant. Only when she married Kanye i knew about their show, and geezewillikers!....i tough paris' show is idiotic!.
I feel your disgust L.O. These people are just despicable...They are toxic and shameless....
I just found out everyone outside of America lives on the boat in the middle of the ocean. But that's American geography for you, lol...
Agreed. Think we need to remove these people off Earth via NASA. Just a thought. Nasa was founded by a Nazi...that's a thing.
I'd volunteer to happily leave this planet and or not be this species however, I think people enabling the trash products to slave labor (human trafficking is increasing) should go. Bezos, to Musk the KARDASHIANS/Jenners load up and go. I'm for that.
Yes đđ»
As someone who lifts *heavy* weights and understands how the body works, it is laughable that these women say they got their bodies through "squats" or working out in general. Can Kim squat 250lbs? Can khloe deadlift 300lbs? No. And we all know they would be throwing that in our faces all day every day if they *could.*
It is 10000% impossible to get this body type WITHOUT surgery unless you were born with abnormal anatomy that makes you exclusively put fat on in the hip-dip region. Due to our pelvic anatomy, it is impossible to NOT have some sort of hip dips. It is insulting that Kim and Khloe claim to have gotten their bodies through squats when they *can't even perform an unweighted squat correctly in the first place.*
Yes I totally agree ⊠I enjoy working out everyday. Although I donât have the biggest thighs or butt . I love how I put hard work when I squad or feel like it is possible to obtain that body without getting plastic surgery
đđđ
Thanks for saying this, your comment was important to me, cause I struggle a lot about having hip dips... :(
Squats work your quads anyway, it's not a glute isolation exercise lol. They really think people are idiots.
I know they have the money to hire the best personal trainers and Iâm sure they work out every day, but donât people think itâs funny that the majority of other professional strength athletes or even athletes in general, donât have that same body?
Yes thank you!!! Iâm sick of the toxic mentality and people tolerating it. Too many people have an allegiance to these scams, lies, vanity, and greed from influencers and âleadersâ. None of this should ever be acceptable. I saw a quote recently that read, âStop making stupid people famous.â Iâm sick of people making and supporting liars who mistreat people, all because they have money. Their body shape is so out of touch. It's impossible to have a butt that big with skinny legs and flat stomach. I'm Brazilian, and I see women with big butts every day, it's normal, but their thighs are proportional to their butt, they have some belly fat, cellulite and I personally think they look amazing, cause it's natural, that's how a human with this body type actually look like. Also, I hate that the lip filler look became mainstream, I'm sorry but they look horrible. Kim's lips are so weird that it makes it look like she doesn't have any teeth, Kylies lips only look good with lipstick (And they STILL overline them!! Whyy??) or Photoshop... Ugh I cant stand that this is the beauty standard these days ... I'm looking forward to the day we move on...

I hope we don't "move on" I hope we evolve to not judge women based on genetics and trends.
Yup

Tbh, the "boys will be boys" analogy you made is the best explanation for why the attention on these type of influencers has felt *so wrong* all these years...
Mainly boys.. not actual provider men that are searching for a real and caring woman
Some men just think Kim looks gross or too much fake
Women love the kardashians though not men.
Have you seen the thirst crowd stalking her? It's not men...it's psychotic women. Most men prefer an ass that doesn't have the ability to dimple due to fluid/fat displacement. When men were asked in 2019 which breasts they prefer a staggering 72% chose natural. So maybe stop blaming men for choice WE MAKE. If you aren't happy with yourself it's not a man's fault.
@@hecallsmefreckles Is it staggering? Almost 30% preferred fake breasts. You'll be hard pressed to have 30% of women say they prefer men with plastic surgery.

well said. This BS of outright lying, has to stop
I believe that even if the Kardashians came clean about all the procedures it wouldnât change anything. They would still be famous and people who want to look like them and alter their bodies to achieve that would still do it. When Pamela and Baywatch was the thing she was honest about her implants and it didnât change anything. Everyone wanted to be blonde and have big boobs đ€·đ»ââïž
Yes but at least they could not take advantage of people to sell them products, cause the problem is how they sell exercise programs, diet regimes and so on saying that's how they got their bodies

If kylie tried to pull the "lipkits gave me filler effect, i didn't have fillers, buy my lipkits" in 2021 she would 100% be canceled af
I don't know, man, some people are beyond reach. I don't follow Kardashians, the only way I know of them are videos like this. None of them are a role model to me. But historically speaking, some people can get away with anything. It's only right to call them out, it's a constant fight of decent people to keep saying "this id not right". At the end of the day, human kind and progress only needs few good, talented, hardworking people to push us forward. The rest is not that important. Kardashians may be changing world now, but in 50 years or so, it won't matter.
Sadly it very well could be that they are beyond reach. kris seems to be on very good terms with powerful people in virtually every industry and it might shield them from things less powerful would have already fallen down for. Unfortunately i don't think 50 years will wipe their ill effects out, just looking at mortality statistics from brazilian butt lift they are number 1 influencer for- 1 in 3000 will die while trying to be more like them. And then the financial and mental health influence on entire generation of young impressionable people ... it's crazy they are not called out more
People are being canceled for things they did/said over a decade ago, yet Kylie hasn't been canceled. I doubt it's happening any time soon.
The grip that this family has on the world is surreal and unnatural.
Cancel culture isnât real tho, itâs just temporary fake outrage, few people are actually truly âcancelledâ

I didnât really have access to celebrities so now itâs easy for me to not follow them or buy the products. But I think itâs much more difficult for kids today.
Letâs face it : Kim and Kourtney have always been pretty, and I think their mom made everyone else feel bad about it.
I hate this is affecting young girls perceptive on beauty. Iâm so sick of watching Kendall being praised as a model and the ânaturalâ one when she has had the same amount of surgery than the others. So even if we know and recognize that something isn't true, subconsciously we still believe it. And this is even more so for cases like this when the person doesn't directly confirm things as true or false.
Thanks for such a great vid - I completely agree with your opinions. You are correct in saying this mentality has trickled over to the music industry. I'm a musician who strives on hard work and authenticity and I dislike how much production or autotune is in current pop music. It's shrugged off as "oh, that's just pop nowadays" or "that's the sound that trending" but it means "musicians" with no real talent are making money off not being about to sing or play an instrument with proper training. When you hear some pop singers live itâs just awful, but theyâve made so much money off a brand rather than well written and executed music. Again, thanks for this video: I hope it will inspire open and honest discussions.
The lying from this ridiculous family is blatant. So glad that you and people like you are dispelling these lies!!!
Beautifully said. They are a product, they cant even live up to their own beauty standards because of all the photoshopping they do. They have created a monster, not only for all women but for themselves. If they had any care for any other women and people's mental health they would come out and say procedures they had done.
It is not easy to say 'dont compare yourself to them or other celebrities'. This stuff is kept in the subconscious without us noticing. I stopped following any celebrieties many years ago. I even deleted instagram. It feels good to stay in realityđ
I totally agree with you
Yeeees, deleting instagram is such a healthy action
It keeps you sane, because you don't feel the need to compare yourself with others.
Instead of deleting Instagram block and hide those influencers and celebs
I am so glad I grew up in the 70s and 80s. Life was so much simpler than.
True that! Well said đ
Exactly! I'm sick of this kind of influencers and i really hope it's just a stupid trend that will fade away and NOT where is our online-living humanity evolving to.
I enjoy watching these videos with my daughter , sheâs nearly 11 and they are a great Segway to conversations about body image and confidence .
I love that she feels confident in her own body and beauty and is able to distinguish between real/ filtered / augmented images that she sees online and on celebrities and never compare herself to a digital image or surgically augmented body. She occasionally watches Lori Hills videos with me and she looks at ppl like Ariana grande and their physical transformations and is shocked at how different they looked in the past . I believe that lifting the lid on the âHollywood veilâ of certain procedures and digital editing techniques can really help young ppl that are struggling with their own insecurities.
When I was a tween/ teen in the 90âs I really believed that the girls I saw on magazine covers and cosmopolitan were genuinely âthatâ perfect . I felt disgusting for having cellulite on the back of my thighs as i went through puberty yet I never saw it on any models or celebrities or read articles where popular singers / actresses/ celebs etc discussed having cellulite/ fat days or any insecurities .
In the 90âs we just had Kate Mossâ infamous quote bandied around constantly : âNothing tastes as good as skinny feelsâ
I had no concept of different body types / shapes back then and just believed if I only ate an apple or better still - nothing , I could be shaped like Kate Moss too!
( little did I know at the time that a steady diet of cocaine , champagne and vodka was what probably kept her so thin ! đ) oh what I would give to go back in time and talk to my 12 year old self đđ
I love this comment
diet of cocaine champagne and vodka- i canât omg
So funny
This. Good job mom
Beautifully said. đđŒ
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. This is very true I wish a course was given to children in school because itâs time we stop tolerating and admire those who are actually natural and different. đ thin, thick, curvy tall small letâs love originality and raw bodyâs not plastic and unrealistic images
I refuse to follow any of these ppl on social media. They don't deserve my attention.
"we're not holding the bar high enough for others" YES MA'AM!! đđđ
Well done!!! Do not understand how come so many people follow them , sad times đ©
Thanks for your video!
I do blame the Kylie Forbes thing mostly on Forbes, they got a lot of attention for putting a extremely privileged and greedy liar on a pedestal and well that's what you get for doing that imo
I do all I can to avoid everything Kardashian... I could go on a rant, but I will not. I hope other people begin to hit the "ignore the kardashian" button and stop spending their money. And most of all, stop thinking this is some perfect body type instead of the unnatural nonsense that it is...
Thank you for doing this. I really needed it
I love you, you are sĂșper Smart and know how to say and analize things exactly the way they should be
i died laughing as soon as you gave up and just said tana monGOOSE
I lost it at "Mojo Jojo" lol
What are you? 7?
Seriously, thank you so much for this video. I have seen the doctors who show the Kardashian alleged surgeries but they usually don't talk about their privilege and money making tactics. The Kardashians are so toxic.
CoolSculpting is also a procedure I've heard about people undergoing but claiming they didn't have plastic surgery...
Any procedure is an augmentation.
And if people wanna augment, that's their deal. But why can't we just be honest and admit it?
Thank you for your honest videos. I hope more young people see these and realize you don't have to filter yourself to be beautiful.
Great video sparking truth sister!! Thank you love your candor! đđœâ€ïž
I LOVE your skincare segments but this...THIS is what people need to hear.
This is an EXCELLENT video on the Kardashians and what they're trying to achieve. Honestly they owe all their success to their surgeons. And these perpetrators with their low expectations is SO gross.
Cassandra, you are huge! I like how you are thinking. Thank you
Good reality check. Love the side by side comparisons
Throughout the 90s and 2000s magazines frequently featured 'Stars without makeup' articles which were literally pages and pages of paparazzi shots is celebrities au naturel. So we regularly saw how they looked in real life.
Yes⊠but some of those were still photoshopped though- like the ones that were photo shoots done by the magazine. I specifically remember jlo doing a spread that was claiming âall naturalâ and that all she had on was moisturizer⊠but the pictures were 100000% photoshopped & edited. She looked like she didnât have any pores. It was ridiculous & there were other celebrities doing the same âall naturalâ photo shoots too
đđżđđżđđżđđż CLAPS FOR YOU FOR CALLING BRAIDS A PROTECTIVE HAIRSTYLEđđżđđżđđżđđż thatâs is greatly appreciated. A lot of people think thatâs braids are just a fashion statement. For black folks and itâs for the growth and protection of our hair
It's also for fashion. Some people just like cornrows, braids, etc. Protective styles is a term that still confuses people. I see people calling dreads a protective style.
Braiding helps protect all types of hair! My hair's to my waist, but I wear it in 1-3 braids most days, and always in braids at night while sleeping. Keeps hair from tangles, matting, and split ends.
@@laurieparis2203 Same! Keeping mine braided at night keeps my hair smooth. Also easier to get out of the way.
@@cynthiakeller5954 Yes! I also like to put a tiny bit of water on my hair... either by spray or by comb... before putting it into braids, if I'm going to wear it loose the next day. It gives the hair the most beautiful mermaid waves and texture. đž
@@laurieparis2203 I do the same! I don't brush it out either bc it gets too fluffy. I also like to wear floral headbands in my hair. When I was a teen I would pin my braids around my head. When I was in the military, I would pull my hair up in ponytail, make two braids and wind them into a neat bun that say on top of my head. Safely out of the way, never cut it off.
My little granddaughter wears pigtails on either side of her head. It's her trademark for now. My mother wore her hair the same when she was that age.
Iâve been saying this for so long itâs sad people are so naive and donât see it for what it is. Itâs these people that make them so rich
Super cool analysis, thumbs up!!đ
But I feel like the Kardashian era is coming to an end as more people especially this generation value authenticity and open mindedness
I sure hope so đ
I was wondering about that since the new generation of the kardashians is growing up now and how their children are influenced by their parents and grandparents and how they will feel pressure to also get all these procedures when they enter their teens and realise they look nothing like mommy.
Many of the Kim K wannabes are/ have aged and now look dated when you see them on soical media or out in public
I feel like itâs the opposite, as a Millennial I very much feel Iâm current and this is my generation as well, but as someone who works with youth, they are really influenced by the Kardashian body and their influencer/instafamous status. Us in our late 20s and 30s also grew up idolising unattainable bodies like Giselle Bundchen and the Victoria Secret supermodels though⊠equally unattainable and dangerous to try and pursue.
@@frankiefavero1666 well I like to think that people are now more self aware of how damaging these beauty standards are. Moreover society has changed a lot in the pass 5 years with increasing diversity and mainstream media being accepting of different body types
Their lying is completely unethical and deplorable. Even recently, Kim was still claiming they âwork out.â I blame Andy Cohen for not pressing her but of course if he pressed her he wouldnât have gotten the interview. Itâs the same when they go on Ellen.
This is eye-opening đđ»đđ»đđ»
Thank you for thisâ€ïž
Hear hear! Queen Cassandra. Thank you for speaking up on this subject that should never âfade into the shadeâ so to speak. And thank you for shining a light on spectrum disorders and the feeling of not fitting in (ie gender dysphoria). I work as an MD and I see a lot of this.
Me encanta como eres tan transparente con los productos/celebs y te basas en el estilo de vida que la mayorĂa de los "mortales" tenemos y como enfatizas la individualidad de cada ser, I love your channel đ
So spot on. I wish influencers like the Kardashians would just love and accept their bodies for how they are instead of cosmetically fixing themselves to look âperfectâ. The influence they have on society is huge and I just wish that they would use their platform to promote healthy body positivity. Imagine how much better some individuals mental health and body images would be if the famous people they look up to actually accepted themselves for all of their flaws and loved their NATURAL beauty.
