Recently my husband and I purchased a cozy condo in a retirement community. One of the things you do so well is thrift shopping, followed by using the items you’ve purchased throughout your home. The interior of your home doesn’t look like a mobile home at all!!! I have never seen a renovation so perfect or nice!!! Your yard is so beautiful that it definitely enhances the outside of your mobile home…especially now that you have done so much work with your patio in the back…once you add a front porch, you home will be complete and so beautiful!!!!! Your nephews were having a ball with that kite…they are so cute and it’s very evident how much they adore you!!!!!

I love that you used Habitat for Humanity thrift. So many good things for the house. The cabinets are perfect. Besides thrift stores I liked church or school Rummage sales. All kinds of goodness.

I live in Clarksville and I have been to that flea market so many times. The last time I went I saw a mouse so I don't know when I'll be ready to go back. That kitty is sleeping on the job!

You remind me of myself, back a couple decades ago! And are attracted to the same sort of things. My husband & I used to love to go to yard sales, flea markets, antique stores & auctions. And we used to sell as well. We used to sell to supplement our grocery money when we had kids in the house & a tight budget! I am 64 now, so there is not a lot I need...lol! My house has enough stuff, although I will occasionally go thrifting if we are on vacation to some shops, or a day trip with my sisters. It's nice to get something now & then! My fav piece was the white platter, I would have definitely picked that up! Very nice video!

I use to feel that way about yard sales too. Have one and it will switch the way you feel. Your sensitive to others feeling, that is a good thing. People are getting rid of stuff they do not want. Yard sales are great just say thank you and did not find what I was looking for but you have allot of stuff that is nice. Yard sales are your screaming good deals.
I have had a couple in the past. I don't like having them either, lol. I agree you can find great deals there, I'm just uncomfortable going. I'm weird. Thanks for watching Lee!

That copper kettle was Revere.. Made in the USA . That stuff should be collectible it was very nice product. I bought a box of things the other day and noticed it had some Revere copper bottom cookware in it. You can have a random things sale on Facebook marketplace since you don't enjoy yard sales. Favorite thing is the basket I would love to have that to use picking the vegetables or flowers in my garden .. Very pretty. I really like the platter too. I'm a total dish freak! 🌻💟

Little Blessed Nest You have a good eye. Maybe think of a side biz & list some things on Etsy or EBay if you're thrifting that much. FB marketplace too. You'll learn as you go.
That's what we had growing up. I think my Nan must have gotten Revere Ware for all her daughters one year. Used Twinkle to polish the copper bottoms
Around our area, I shop at St Vincent de Paul for small things & books, goodwill for household stuff & clothes, Top Quality consignment for clothes, shoes, furniture and household stuff and Top liquidators for furniture, household stuff & hubby goes for the outside sales area for tools.

I saw so many things that I would have loved to have. It all reminded me that I have many boxes of old items there were my grandma's, and that I need to dig those out and finally actually put pieces into place around my home. After all these years, I don't even remember what's all in those boxes! Of the things you bought, I love that little brown book, love how old and worn (well loved!) it is.
Oh my, I would love to have some old things from my grandparents. All I have is a bracelet and this little juice glass that she had, we always drank out of them when we were little. I have it on my hutch. I'd love to hear what you find in those boxes! Thanks for watching.

Clear fairie lights would be cute in your amber colored bottle~ maybe sit it in your bathroom as a night light...
I have a darker Mocha colored basket just like the one you showed, I use it for my sewing basket...perfect for holding my yarn and sewing needles!

I always tell the people having the yard sale that I didn't find anything that I can't live without. Then I tell them that I need to get rid of a lot myself. Works fine.
Love your home. I would use the amber bottle for vanilla extract. Could use a cork for the top.

If you have enough room in your bathroom, that basket would look pretty with some decorative bath towels or hand towels in it.

I've found many things at yard sales, I just say out loud as I'm leaving "well, I'm not seeing anything I'm needing today" to my hubby.

We have a stop light and a caution light. When I was growing up we didn't have any, but they built a 4 lane and had to put one in.
The best yard sale l went to , l was living in Florida and I needed a bedroom set for a guest room, and l came across a great one and the lady that had the sale going gave extra stuff like the bed covers and the pillows everything was new and still had tags on them . I bought the dresser, bed, 2 end tables and a high boy all for 150.00

I love how real you are. You are like the rest of us broke folk. Love having a real sized, paycheck to paycheck person. I mange a thrift store and LOVE LOVE LOVE thrifting. I would like to know more about you and ur family. Where are yall located (ie state, not stalking you ;) ) What do you do for a living? Is your home on family land? Do you homestead? Maybe do a trailer video for your channel telling about yourself?

I believe the white platter that you bought is English and I believe Staffordshire probably from the 1900s somewhere or you know early that’s why it was a higher price six dollars and sell it’s really very nice I love the taste of all the things you picked thank you I hope this helps you you’re speaking presentation is very very nice

Growing up we always had a big basket on top of the frig and that's where Mom stored chips and cookie bags so you couldn't see them! I have one too but mine has beef jerky and pork rinds - nowhere near as fun!
