  • We have had the Havaseas, our Nordhavn 55, for just over a year. We plan to explore Canada this winter/spring. We had a family emergency and had to fly out of Canada. We continued our journey North after the visit. We anchored in Skull Cove. We also explain our anchor block and the peace that we get on the ocean. These are our adventures, how we live and where we go.

So sorry for your loss, my sincere condolences to you, family and friends. Captain Eric is very good at keeping the boat safe and sound, the plastic block is an excellent idea. Thanks for those great videos of my country 🇨🇦, places I shall never see in person. I wish you both well and safe sailings.

Thank you. We are starting to heal, but it was a difficult time. So glad you are enjoying the videos!

I helped my Professional Captain friend take a 70' yacht to Sitka in 2015 and we had to dock at Campbell River in winds gusting to 40kts....not fun but we got it done in 2 tries. The boat had a hydraulic bow thruster and no stern thruster but did walk sideways well. I learned alot from a 35 year Alaska Captain on that trip. Safety before Schedule always.

Wow! We learned not to push so hard on the thrusters. We ended up loosing a blade. Had to get it repaired in Wrangell.

Indeed, flexible planning needed or it's getting complicated. Same here in the Dutch waters Europe. Great footage!
Keep it safe with al those rocks.

Yes, it works well. We were just in rough waters hitting us on the front of the boat. The anchor was flying! We had to turn and get the anchor block on!

Can that forward facing sonar be set to warn you if there are floating debris? like logs or containers?
