Ray Hunt: Silloth, Cumbria April 2022

With relentless north easterlies keeping the water cold and making life uncomfortable on the north east coast shorelines, the last minute decision was taken to head over to the Solway in search of the thornback rays that frequent the area during the early spring season. The journey was worth it with six thrones and the obligatory doggie landed. No hounds yet but it was worth putting a crab bait out just in case!
