  • It's time to put together the Carter AFB we cleaned with Super Clean. I bought an Edelbrock rebuild kit for it. Let's get it together and get it prepped for install.

    What brand of kit did you wind up using? Most are supplied by one or two companies now and everyone reboxes them and puts their number on them.

      I bought the Edelbrock kit 1477. I didn't what to have to worry about buying cheap stuff.

      @@NathansMoparGarage Eldelbrock doesn't make their own kits and likely buys them from the major aftermarket suppliers anyway. I'd be interested to see what numbers were on the box and the inner parts tray of that kit.

      Actually it has the same part number inside the box and made in the USA all over. It also has nicely printed instructions. I remember getting other kits with poorly printed instructions that looked like they had been photo copied tons of times.
