Tips from a Pro GLI Autobahn 2023 Owner.
Number 1. Use Custom mode, set everything to sport, except engine sound. This gives you sport mode without the fake sounds. You can also adjust suspension to comfort, if you want to feel less road.
Number 2. Use custom mode for spirited driving, always have it on S mode. But before you come to complete stops, go back to D, the auto downshift from 2nd to 1st is janky.
Number 3. If you really want to do pulls, hold the traction control button for 3-5 secs, puts it in sport ESC. Computer doesn’t hold back any power this way.
Number 4. USE YOUR PADDLESHIFTERS. Coasting in 2nd gives you on demand power. The paddle shift are instant, zero delays. Whenever I need to pass on a 60 roll I just drop 2-3 gears and I’m gone.
Number 5. Utilize your stock wheels until it’s time to replace, they’re horrible but might as well not waste them. Get higher quality sticky tires.
Number 6. All you need is a new intake and tune, now you basically have another 100hp.
Best car I’ve ever owned! Black 2022 with MBRP exhaust and couldn’t be happier. Just enough pops.

It is a great looking car! I think if I was to get it in a darker color, I would have those red vent things wrapped in black. But it looks great on that white car!

Grab continental dws06 plus or pilot sports. If you still got the factory tires they don’t last at all. Mine burnt out wayyy before i tuned it and was awkward in wet weather.
Yeah, any wet conditions scare me.
I just bought my 2023 in pure gray with a six speed manual. Great car now time to do some subtle changes to make it mine.

Clean car! I have a 2023 Subaru BRZ w/ 6MT. This seems like a great fun daily sedan.
yeah this would be my perfect daily driver honestly get it in manual, maybe upgrade it in the future for abit more power maybe like 20-45hp somehow. only thing about it i dont like is the red trim and the wheels, id cover and swap those out immediately. the wheels in video look different than the ones that come stock, look much better but still not the ones id pick.
Funny enough, the red accents are my favorite part of the car. I doubt it would grab my attention as much just black and white.
@@WaveManMike red trims fine just not something id go for, i like things kind of plain and bland. id say the jetta is prolly the best looking sedan out there, there isnt another sedan out there that i find more appealing than the jetta or gli even over the charger sxt. i mean with the addition of a manual trans, good power for the weight and class the vehicle is, the mpg being pretty decent. i mean imho there isnt another more balanced well rounded vehicle than the jetta.

The ride is 🔥🔥🔥 I have the same car but mine is black. You are so right this car is slept on…it’s a great car that is basically fully loaded and what I like most is there is only 1 trim now for this car. So you don’t have to hassle with trying to get accessories you want on this car. I love my car!👍🏾

No, that’s why they put the paddle shifters on there to shift. It’s not bad for the car.

Whats mpg looking like for u. Do the touch buttons on the wheel bother u.
The touch buttons on the steering wheel are one of the best parts of the whole steering wheel. I’m not sure the reviewers dislike them so much. I’m a car salesman and have never heard an actual customer say that they’ve accidentally hit any buttons.
My MPG is pretty bad based on the way I drive at about 17 MPG
But when I drive slower or “normal” I can get about 40 MPG
The only thing is 20% tint on the jettas at night is dark asf
It’s super dark at night but I want it a little darker 😂
I got 5% on mine all around. And it’s black on black. Stage 1+. Lol stage 2 FBO by November, just gotta grab my downpipe and a vibrant resonator.
