- Tim Allen may be known as a hilarious comedian, but in real life, things haven't always been so easy. From a life-changing car accident to time in prison, Tim Allen has faced a lot of tragedy. What really happened to him? And how did he become one of the world's most successful comedians?
In the 90s, he broke into television with the beloved family sitcom Home Improvement and became a star. Playing Tim "The Toolman" Taylor, he starred alongside Patricia Richardson. He found later success in another great sitcom, Last Man Standing. He also became a kid's icon doing the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story movies. Here he grew close to legendary actor, Tom Hanks. His first marriage didn't last as long as this friendship, but these days, Tim Allen is happily married to Jane Hajduk.
His work life is also a happy one especially because he recently reunited with Richard Karn who played Al Borland in Home Improvement. The two present DIY competition Assembly Required. But why did Tim Allen find filming the show so difficult? And how has his attitude about Donald Trump made Tim Allen the target of recent Twitter abuse? We have all the details here for you on Ossa!

I love Tim Allen! Sad he lost his dad at a young age. Sad he had bad habits but now he us all good today in my eyes. Glad he did 2 comedy shows. He is funny. Glad he acted in Disney movies. And played Santa Claus. Tim is A ok in my book and will always be A ok. He’s from my home state Michigan.
Oh, I love Tim Allen!! He's friggin cool!
Where did you hear that Toy Story 5 is an actual thing and that it also has a 2023 release date? There is a spin-off origin movie titled "Lightyear" based on Allen's Buzz character but it doesn't star him and it is scheduled for 2022.
I love Tim Allen and What is wrong with being conservative?
This is a perfect sentence.
There's a Buzz Lightyear movie that just came out, but that's not Toy Story 5 and Tim Allen is not doing Buzz's voice. That's Chris Evans.

Hi
Hi
He's absolutely right about Hollywood being like 30's Germany for conservatives. Love that guy.
Many of us have lost a parent early in life, but don't use it to justify bad behavior decades later. Yes, it's terribly sad and not fair that every friend I had until age 11 had 2 parents, but such is life. Whining Tim made bad choices, paid for them, and became a huge, famous and beloved star. Few ex-cons have had such a spectacular second act.
11 years isn’t decades later
If you're going to respond to me I hope you read my emails correct ly and respond with the same standard you expect from subscribers!
@@nikki9125 how rude and nasty you are. Happy Thanksgiving aster!
@@sandisteinberg1579 what the hell are you talking about? You said:
“Many of us have lost a parent early in life, but don’t use it to justify bad behavior DECADES later.”
He was 11 when his father was killed in a car accident, by a drunk driver, & 22 when he went to prison. 11 years is only 1 decade, not multiple. You want to talk about rude & nasty, your comment is rude & nasty. Not everyone handles grief the same. He was rightfully angry, & didn’t know how to cope, but he still managed to get his life together. Also, it’s not Thanksgiving, it’s Easter.
@@nikki9125 you are right people grieve in different ways

Take care of your mom
I lost my parents, don't use that for a crutch, for your bad choices.
I hope someday Tim Allen would play Joe Biden's character in some movie or some play.
