This Huldra video is likely my favourite overall. Captures the mystery behind Norwegian folklore in a fun, relaxing way. Love the way your say "It might have something to do with something that was put in your tea" then giggle about it 😊The hand movements mesmerising into sleep 😴 Tusen Takk 🌹🌹
I adore this Norwegian book of folkloric characters of yours. I was going very well learning Norwegian on Duolingo but there became a technical problem where answers I gave to the hearing questions always provided the response to have another go. No matter what I would say the end result was I had to have another go at saying the Norwegian word. It was not like this to begin with but this problem happened over time and it therefore became impossible to complete the exercises. I would remain stuck in these sound based questions which prevented me completing the exercise and therefore progressing within Norwegian at Duolingo. I therefore stopped Duolingo but at some time intend to learn it in another way. It is a very beautiful language that relates not too indifferently to English.
So I was looking for a version of your book in English but couldn't find one. But I did find this book in English "The Book of Forgotten Creatures: A Who's Who in Norwegian Folklore". It is only available in Kindle form at the moment but I have a kindle and am going to buy this book. I think there are some deep hidden treasure meanings in many folklores and especially the Norwegian. Thank You for telling these Norwegian folklore tales and I will enthusiastically welcome more. In the meantime, I am going to learn about them in English via this book. At some stage, develop the Norwegian I have come to really like - so I can read the Norwegian versions which likely have more authenticity about them 🌸🌷🌹✨❤
