Greetings, if your render resolution in the Oculus app is 3936x2096, should you set the resolution width in the debug tool to 3936 instead of 2096?
You’re right, that’s good catch. 2096 would be the height
great video, straight to the point and explained everything clearly, appreciate it brotha!
Glad I could help!
thanks for the help boss
...and if i want returned to default setting? There is a setting voice or i write the settings on a paper?
Do you need to reset your headset every time you make a change ? Cos no matter what I change I don’t see no difference if quilty?
Thank you!!!
No problem 😎
Can you reccomend something for optimizing FPS and make less lagging on quest 3 through cabel?
good tutorial
Glad it helped
Everytime i change my settings, they revert back to the previous settings even after i restart it. What do i do?
you have a way different settings than me tho
Hey nice vid. What kinda GPU are you using?
RTX 2080 Super
@@DaVirtualGangster im running a rtx 3060 12gb oc card and am struggling to get 90fps on lowest games settings and it looks absotlutly horrible, am i missing something?
@@ShawnT_1JZ The 3060 is a fairly slow card and considered as entry level. So it could just be that the games you are playing are very demanding. Im kinda new to VR stuff but for me, most games do look bad on my Quest 2 as well. And I have everything maxed out with highest resolution/hz in the Quest link software.
@@PlebLordThe3rd i tinkered with it for few hours last night and today, i think its actually my cpu bottlenecking, its from 2014 hahah, best from its socket but to old, time for new system
@@ShawnT_1JZ Oh wow, but 10 years is a pretty good life span. id say. Anything from the last 2-3 years will be a huge performance uplift. Otherwise, you could try some OC to get a few more months out of it.
do you have to do this every time or do the settings persist?\
The settings persist
Does any of this improve fps/hz
Yes
my oculus app is using my igpu instead of my dedicated gpu anyway how to fix this?
I think you can disable integrated GPU in bios settings and make sure your HDMI or whatever is plugged into your GPU and not the motherboard
Open nvidia control panel and select the Oculus ap p and set it to the dedicated GPU
why does this setting not show up for me please help me, I can't change my hertz or rez
just need to have quest connected to pc via link cable, might work wirelessly connected, but I know it works when it's connected via the link cable.
@@cojaki i have a rift s, is it only on the quest?
i dont know. i have no experience with any other vr headsets. you can probably find that out online.@@freepalestine131
Nice ChatGPT generated description 😂
Yea ain’t nobody got time to be typing descriptions 😂😂
@@DaVirtualGangster But the description isn't even fucking accurate to the video... I knew it was ChatGPT at first sight LMAO
That’s okay, I just needed something to put in there. All the content is in the video
@@Bear-nr9jowhy you so mad 😂
