Seether is inspired by Nirvana and all of the awesome grunge bands of the 1990's, and yes they do sound a lot like Nirvana, but it sounds amazing. Nirvana is amazing and so is Seether, simple as that.

Doofus Alowishus it's a good idea maybe for like a anniversary tour for never mind or something. I'd be on board for Shaun to front that! He's the closest I've heard in modern who could pull off nirvana songs and do them justice. Hell they do nirvana covers in their set lists.

Seans so fucking talented man. Highly underrated band, every song they write is great. not many bands can say that, I can listen to any Seether song at any time, not many bands I can do that with even some of my all time favorites, but Seether man, every song they write just kicks ass.

U are right!! Funny that everybody is saying that he reminded them of Cobain. Exactly what I was thinking as I watched him during this. His movements are similar, his voice is similar, and his intensity is definitely similar. They kick ass!!

I only play air guitar, and love rock music, but, , I'd like to thank the Guitar Shop for uploading this and "Rise Above This", especially in 3D HD. I don't have a lot of favorites stored, but this is one of them (my ultimate favorites here include Sean Gilbert's Caddy under "Hotrod Cadillac", but I am also a big Seether fan who finally went to see them at the Monster UPROAR concert at the DTE Energy Center (old Pine Knob) and am looking forward to seeing them again at the Joe Louis Arena!

I’m sure that the guy would appreciate not being called a Cobain clone. He’s an artist in his own right and no doubt influenced by Cobain but Seether is post grunge/nu Metal. Would suck to be stuck in someone’s shadow.
I don't think people are saying he's a clone. Just that his vocal style and voice is reminiscent of kurt cobain. Honestly, I'd assume he's take the similarities as a compliment and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of nirvana
