Well.! She is the best Sax Player I have ever Heard in my 73 years.. I played a Sax for many years, Wife got Mine in the Divorce. Gone Gone.
This entire song really revolves around a four note riff. And it shows the skill of the musicians. There are so few who could pull this off now. This song has always taken on a life of its own and it shows here, some 20+ years after its original release.

You can tell that Candy and the guitarist are on the same page....They seem to work well together. One thing I love about Cindy is she allows other musicians their space to excel with their parts. BRAVO

i felt like this song just played my life story, just the ups and downs, struggles and triumphs. I never had an instrumental bring tears to my eyes. Must have played 30 times, definitely saved this. Didn't know it was from a movie soundtrack. May have to check that out. Amazing solos by the saxophonist & guitarist - such a whole vibe, just a beautiful musical ride! Thank you.

I'll never forget the first time I saw one of Candy Dulfer's CD covers. She didn't look at all the way I imagined her. There was a substance to the artist I never expected based on her appearance. I don't know exactly what I expected, I just didn't expect what I saw. That lady is one funky saxophone player!!! Great artist!

I remember listening to this song as a child at the beginning of the 90s on the radio and I always liked it. I didn't know what the name of the song or the saxophonist was at the time but I found out more than 20 years later. I think it's one of the most emblematic sax songs known internationally.

Same here when it comes to the radio part. A Dutch radio station aired it a lot and I didn't know for a long time what it was called. One day when we were digitizing the videotape with all kinds of fragments from when I was much younger a clip popped by of my mom watching a Dutch Top 40 show on television with my brother and me being distracted and it had this song playing at that moment, and even the fragment was short, my mom knew what it was called after I asked her and showed the fragment.

I will never tire of hearing these immensely talented musicians play this one song. Though rarely mentioned, one of the best bass guitar players ever, anywhere. And when will anyone come along with half the talent of Candy on sax or Ulco on the Stratocaster ? I admire anyone who can coax great sound from either instrument.

I have been listening to this at least 50 times over the years and every single time Ulco blows my mind with his work! Amazing, unbelievable and so much more!!
I've listened to this song so many times I've fallen in love with Lily and I haven't even met her yet.
