Awesome tutorial, great to have someone do these sort of tutorials with inside knowledge.

Thanks Stuart! My knowledge is a bit dated, but I believe a lot of it still checks out. At least for 1980's cold war. ;)

Just discovered your videos, would love to download your templates and missions if you posted them. Have you had any success getting the AI to do recovery and launch together?

Thanks! I've wanted to clean up many of my missions because I'm always learning something new and then share them to ED's User's Files. I have some templates though that I can put up on a google drive without a lot of effort.
Sim time has been short the past several months. I'm closing in on my retirement date and I'm almost back to normal after shoulder surgery. Once I'm retired I should be able to produce videos on a more regular pace.
I have played around with creating a mission that mimics cyclic ops with three alpha strikes. Players can partake in the first and third strike with friends and AI units. The second Alpha Strike would be AI only. That's something I'll just have to wait to finish this summer when I will finally have all the time in the world. :) Until then, I'll work on revamping an early morning Persian Gulf mission where you can fly Hornets or Harriers with AI support units and random enemies. There are several objectives, but you can call in AI support if you're playing single player. Thanks Again!
