Well it reminds of the episode of the crown. Winston Churchill commissioned a portrait of himself to hang aT burleigh. Churchill didn't like the painting because he was portrayed as he looked at that moment In time. An old man and Churchill hated to see himself as an old man. So he burned it.. it was later judged to be one of the finest masterpieces of the 20th century. So... I think it is a "Masterpiece in red"
If the artist wanted to have viewers concentrate on Charles, he Failed miserably. Horrible. It's a shame. To me it symbolizes a sea of blood the monarchy is responsible for and Charles drowning in it. Nothing grand, nothing strong, nothing fit for what the British Monarchy symbolizes in modern times. Just awful.
I think artist accidentally drop cup of red paint and is calling it the style.
