Christ, the precision of these fuckers is unbelievable.Add to that the horrible headlight range in night mode and you are assured a hit in almost every race. And the even more magnificent physics engine ensures that you make a re-entry on every hit.
if i can give you a tip: try to reajust your gearbox. you should use the 1st gear only in arnage(the 90° righthander). the rest(mulsanne and almost all of the chicanes), try to use the 2nd gear. you can have better traction with that. with the 7 gearboxes(R18 e-tron Quattro and TS040) the 1st gear should be used for pit exit only. so you use 2nd at arnage and 3rd for mulsanne and almost all of the chicanes. otherwise, great race. the respectful drivers always wins ;)
The r18 is the same in this game as it is in forza 6. The awd makes cornering easy, but once you're in a straight line. You get passed. Peugeot`s do it to me all the time, and I have to resort to driving in the middle of the circuit because they won't try to pass.
I remember the game was programmed to pull the same crap on me over 15 years ago when I played NASCAR 2001 on the original PS 1. Usually, it's at Bristol, Pocono, Infineon Raceway (formerly Sears Point) or Watkins Glen. Just never mastered some of those turns to stay out of the computer's way while I was at it.

Hey I played Race Driver Grid from CodeMasters, and there a GT1 Murcielago had a top speed of 348 KMPH, I still haven't bought a lmp1 in the game but i thought they would be faster than gt1, but these are not even hitting 320 kmph properly.
I can't understand games balance... We all know that hybrid and diesel LMP1 always killed the petrol ones. But in all games the whole class its like even. If this was more likely the IRL race the Etron was supposed to be miles away...
That is funny how you took the really left and right on the straight line, cause in real life one one does. This straight is most of the year a public road and the side of it isn’t clean and really bumpy, I think you should avoid to get in this zone especially when exiting the chicanes

So, in RL that R18 would've been penalized several times for excessive usage of the KERS, assuming he had his fuel flow set to max the entire race.
