Great content. Really enjoyed it as I did skiing Snow Summit and Big Bear Mountain for spring skiing first time last season. Relocating to LA this fall I'll be heading back with my Ikon Pass.

@@ChristineLozada Many locals dislike Ikon Pass and respect that opinion as it has made mountains overcrowded. It's perfect for me who started skiing in the US seven years ago and love to explore new resorts.

Thank you for this helpful video, I was having a hard time figuring out what I need to get access to the resort, Looks like the only thing you need is the lift tickets. Thank you

yes… exactly! but you can also just enjoy it without skiing or snowboarding and go to the restaurants etc!

Hey I live in SoCal and I’m wondering what the best season pass to get is? I would love to travel to the greater northwest to ski as well but also want access to the local SoCal mountains without having to dish $100+ every time I go since I will surely go over 10 times a year. Thanks!

ohhhh this is SUCH a good question. i always use the ikon pass, but if you're southern california only... this pass likely does NOT make sense. i'm hoping someone else in the comments can answer!

Big Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are just minutes drive apart. So I agree with the author, try both!

How bad is parking these days..I'm considering getting the pass, but IDK. ? TY what about Bear? Driving from the AValey. Traffic?

    • @ChristineLozada

@@ChristineLozada hi I Googled it and it sounds very busy/competitive for parking. But, since I don't go there IDK.
Coming from the 15 Frw to Snow Valley: I found I had to leave at 330 on weekends, so I didn't get slammed with the traffic coming home from Big Bear. That is 20 min before reaching the fabled snow summit--lol. For Two years I bought 10 tickets. Like 3-4 yrs ago.
Also, most don't board ski; they just go to enjoy the snow. Cars full of families ect..

She was very xtra nice with this review! Both resorts should give her a lifetime pass. To all true Skiers , ill tell u a story. I went to To Colorado and got a lift at Copper Mountain. I met this ski instructor guy named Rick . I told him i drove all the way from. LA to enjoy the Snow. He understood completely. He referred to Big Bear resorts as "Trailer Park Terrain". A bunch of sloppy people bunched up next to each other falling over on everyone around them. 😅😅😅😅 . Ive never been back since. Packed crowds and never packed powder. Risking a serious accident everytime down the slopes. ! Get IKon and go to Utah and Colorado.
