  • How to replace a fuel filter on a 2005-2006 Mercedes E320 CDI 211.026. This technique will be quite similar to other Mercedes Diesels of this era as well as Sprinter Vans with the diesel engine.

There are special crimp hose clamp connectors that are recommended by MB. The SS clamps can loosen from vibration over a period of time. The crimp tool and fittings can be purchased for a few extra bucks, but will give you piece of mind knowing that the hoses are secure and will not leak for the next 25 K miles!

Thanks for the video. At 7:42 when you said we can open this up so the air can come out. Do we leave it like that open or we have to tighten it once the air is out. And also how much to open it ?

What is your opinion on liquid molly diesel purge? My Mercedes is petrol but I'm tempted to use it in my Audi the engine has barely broken in only 302k miles.

@ Car D. Ologist buy your parts from FCP Euro and you have lifetime warranty. You send the old part back and they will refund the money. They have original Mercedes and OEM parts. They will even take back your old oil and coolant. I have two E320 cdi and I have been buying all my parts from them. You practically only buy each part once for the life of the car.

Great stuff Doctor! I was driving my 2001 E320 sedan to the doctor for a physical. It has about 150K miles on the odometer. The doc said I had RBBB. Is it serious?

Awesome video. Why no gloves? That diesel fuel smell takes forever to come off. Are Mann filters OE for that car? I thought the MB ones were just rebranded Mann.
