I have explained the method to identify ragas. Identifying carnatic ragas is not a magic. Even those who have no music knowledge can do it. Hearing is one of the 5 senses gifted to us by GOD. If we use it properly, we can easily identify ragas.
Different ragas are nothing but different permutation combinations of sounds with some specific rules. A little bit of focus in the combination of sounds and constant listening of music can help one to understand and identify ragas.

I think it is more than sufficient for people to understand and learn Suddha dhanyasi ragam.
If you apply த1 instead of ப, the raga will be changed to hindolam/ malkauns.
Yes, his favourite raga is suddha dhanyasi. He has composed maximum nunber of songs in this raga. You can also add பூ... மா...லை ஒரு பாவை ஆனது
