We stayed here for our honeymoon (we have family that own a condo here) and we love love looooooved this place. We loved having the adult only pool for quiet times but oh man is it COLD. We also liked the live music in the evenings near the big pool near the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.
I’ve been to Kauai 4 times and stayed at Koloa Landing each time. It just never made sense to stay anywhere else for us. Amazing, special place. We love it.
I love your channel! I've been watching for a few years now and discovered you all before a trip to Maui. It was on that trip that I got engaged and am now married to the love of my life. Even though we haven't travelled to Hawaii since, I still come back to your videos as it gives me a sense of peace and happiness.
Our first trip to Hawai'i last year we went to both Hawai'i and Kauai. Going through an agent, she booked us at Kiahuna a bit further down the road from there. It was a little dated of a condo/rental community, but it did have beach access. But your kukui'ula shopping center clips really brought back memories, I loved the evening vibe there. There was so much more to do in Kauai that we want to go back. This resort looks like the place to be!! 😃
You’re right there’s no beach access at Koloa Landing, but Kiahuna beach in front of the Sheraton is an easy 15 min walk. Water isn’t as calm as Poipu or Baby beach but it’s still really nice.
I I just stayed here and got back last Friday. It was a beautiful property. The customer service was great and we even got massages at the spa after a 10 hour flight. The pool was beautiful but packed every day especially with families and kids. Not a problem but just wanted to mention as we went to the adult pool every day and by early afternoon, kids migrated there and nobody enforced it. So prepare to see lots of running around and getting splashed often. I know I sound like a grump but a few times I was sleeping or my iPad got wet, so… I will say the ocean is literally right there and we’d walk out to the stone wall every night to watch the sunset. You could see whales jumping from the shore. It was magical! Being a Bonvoy member, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom apt complete with full fridge, w/d and full kitchen and balcony. That w/d and fridge really came in handy after 2 weeks. Parking was really easy as plenty of spaces at each building. Never had any issues even late at night.
This is a beautiful resort with so many things to do with the family. The expense is hard to bear - although the bedrooms are nice, and you guys probably still felt pretty crowded with grandparents plus the kids all in the condo.
I'd stay on the North Shore first as I like the things to do up there and the landscape. See our things to do in Hanalei if you're interested: thehawaiivacationguide.com/things-to-do-in-hanalei/

It is starting to feel that way for us. It is convenient and we can find deals sometimes.
Feel exactly the same and this July it will be our 5th time. Kauai and Koloa Landing just go together- both are magical.

Thanks so much Alexander! I'm glad Hawaii brings such warm memories. It is the same for us.
🏃🏃🏃me running to youtube after getting my Saturday HVG notification.
Loving the Grumpy Plumber cameo!
I’m glad you noticed the family celebrity!

We like Kiahuna as the location is excellent but yes, you gotta check the reviews. Each unit is different. Thanks for sharing!

We love kiahuna. A good place for surf lessons too.
This resort looks irresistible! Looks like a fun place to whale watch from the shore too!

thanks for sharing! I'm glad you had a great time. It wasn't that busy for us so thanks for sharing your pool experience.

Pricey.
Love your channel! If splitting a 10 day stay in Kauai between the north and the south, which area would you stay first?

Looks like a timeshare, but doubles as a hotel?
Not this one. All hotel.
