- A short video showing my visit to the Saltburn Miniature Railway in Yorkshire, UK. This 15 inch gauge railway was first established in 1947 and has been changed and developed over the years. Its locomotives are primarily steam outline diesel powered. For more information see ngruk.blogspot.com - Music "Midday Dance" by Kevin McLeod (incompetech.com ). A hearty thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work, dedication and devotion to Saltburn's Miniature Railway. They do try to have a steam day as often as possible and the diesels might be "mock" steam locos but the kids love them and the ice cream in the Italian Gardens at the destination.
I live near Saltburn-by-the-Sea I come here Frequently
Prince of wales looks like one of the engines from the lakeside railway in Southport Merseyside
It is a Barlow sames as the locomotives that used to run on lakeside minature railway southport
Wish I could go to the UK and visit this railway, it looks very fun
It is. Well worth a visit one day ..... ;-)
Saltburn is so beautiful definitely a jewel of the North East coast.
Runs on diesel, right?
I wonder what Prince Charles' top speed is?
This is bad in my opinion if your going to run diesel the run a 56 or a 10000 but this fake nonsense
The younger kids don't know and they love to ride on it. Take your grand children on it and see. The NYMR isn't far away for the fanatics.
l prefer authentic English rather than your fake variety.
