After watching a few of these videos, it looks like a lot of players have unchecked (or too much) flat ground throwing. That leads to the hips tilting at the end of the leg lift.
Probably not something you’d want to teach kids, BUT, open question: What value, if any, does a funky delivery have in deception vis a vis hitters? I’m thinking the Japanese stutter step that Johnny Cueto does or Mike Clevinger’s leg-shuffling-high-leg-kick? Or any submarine/sidearmer?
Would you do a mechanics breakdown on a sidearm/submarine pitcher? I’m curious if the principles in the mechanics stay the same.

This infuriated me because my summer ball/high school coaches literally said the exact opposite about the hips. I hope kids in high school now are able to learn from these videos because this is truly the best coaching they will receive

Max really put it together with Detroit & beyond. 37 now but still a prominent force on the mound + does have a chance at 4000 k's if he stays healthy, especially with a few big seasons in the mix during the next 4-5 years. Definitely a lock for the Hall of Fame.

@@Alan-rw3ez yea and it would be great to hear Bauer’s interpretation of why. I feel like Tim was one of the first pitchers in the modern era to take mechanics as seriously as most pitchers do now. He was way ahead of his time.

We live in a World we're the media wants to report first and it doesn't matter about facts. I've studied the Trevor Bauer case. All I'm willing to say is that I'm confident I know what Bauer was up against.
As men we want to protect. It's in our DNA to never think we could be a victim to a woman. It's even more humiliating to even admit it. It's in our nature to move on.
Times have changed.Times have evolved as well. I believe Trevor is fighting not for himself. He is fighting for all the men who moved on in a similar situation. The truth ALWAYS comes to the light.
Trevor will be found innocent. The next step is very humbling. The punishment has been served. A press conference would be a giant step for his return to baseball. I would like to know the players that will speak against him after the facts. It should be nobody. LA would have prosecuted Trevor. The fact they didn't speaks volumes. The court of law is now weaker than the court of public opinion is a disgrace to humanity.
I said from Day One if he is guilty than he should be done. I believe he should return to the Dodgers today. Quit pushing back his date. Trevor doesn't want free money. He wants to play baseball and help his team win. This comes from a Yamkee fan. lol. I would love to play the Dodgers and Bauer in a World Series.
