    I bought a ZT 0609 this week, I think it was the first knife in years (outside of sprint runs) that I've bought without waiting for Nick's opinion.

    You really need a video series called “nick picking”

    I need to get a nice work mat setup. Nick, have you ever done a video of the knives you've used to most for the longest amount of time and how they've worn? I'd like to see it.

  • @ocomegashadowstacking5886

    FYI if you are a Vet and maybe LEO spyderco gives 50% off MRSP they do charge 15 bucks shipping but for any model that is typically over $100s on HQ,center, etc its usually cheaper for this one with shipping its right around $115 and you dont have to worry about it being fake

    Yeah.
    I hate sand too.
    It’s coarse
    and rough
    and irritating
    and it gets everywhere.

    Those washers are tiny

      Not only that, the stop pin is around the thickness of a large paperclip. I used to have an Ikuchi but sold it due to the stop pin, washers and exposed tip. Otherwise the design is really nice.

    I will say this about the SW prequels: Episodes 1&2 were no worse than Episodes 5&6, blasphemy I know but I stand by it. 'Rogue One' is the best non-Lucas film so far.

    • @NitrousFox
      @NitrousFox Před 5 lety

      I'd say Episode 1 has aged the worst. 2 had the worst plot execution by far. 6 was weird with the back and forth toward the end; I'd say Avengers: End Game did a much better job of carrying numerous characters and settings. I actually think 5 is the best of them all. I don't have much of an opinion about 4. Anyone any other thoughts?

      @davidmarshall7752 Před 5 lety

      @@NitrousFox Five is the best until you watch it one day and realize after the first half-hour it really kinda sucks. Lucas shouldn't have given up oversight of SW, he could've hired good people to make the films and retained creative consultation. Instead it's in the hands of whoever Disney picks to make them. And all those great EU books are no longer in play because Disney deemed them 'Not canon'.

      tidge879 he probably recorded this video a while ago, before he stated he’s going back to the ifixit drivers.

      This is an older video. The majority of filmed content will still use the older drivers.

    this video tells me i should not attempt this. unless something has really locked up, can't see a good reason for tempting fate, since murphy's law always finds me and extracts angst.

    Nick Shabazz On the one hand the carbon fibre laminate is inherently dishonest, it’s fakery, it’s not a carbon fibre scale but on the other hand carbon fibre can be strong in one direction but weak under lateral stress, so the G10 can provide a strong base for the carbon fibre to stand on for the aesthetic? 😕

    • @user-ls6ni2ct5j
      @user-ls6ni2ct5j Před 2 lety

      I’m not sure it’s definitely more aesthetic than anything else but I’d say it’s nicer than say just straight up regular g10. It’s lighter and stronger(marginally) but here’s my. Two cents, dropped this guy on ceramic industrial rials that had rough edges and were being torn out…. Not a single scratch. The knife is truly one that you should not buy unless you’ve handled one and are certain . Its become my most EDCd knife ever over the last few months. Mainly use it for food, boxes, that kind of stuff but maintaining it can be tricky hence this video and I definitely pack a heavier duty blade often But this is my go to front pocket blade. I like it more than a delica, pm2, 940, and many other high end major brand knives I’ve owned or own
