Sebastian is amazing and one of the great Rock vocalists of all time. I highly suggest Wasted Time, Slave to the Grind, Monkey Business, 18 and Life and Youth Gone Wild in no particular order. They are all bangers.

Wasted Time, Quicksand Jesus, In a Darkened Room, Living on a Chain Gang. Lots for you to explore. His grit and power really come through on their 2nd album Slave to the Grind.
With the passage of time, this song is beginning to stand out as one of the most beautiful songs and best performances of the 'Big Hair" 80's.

I was around and remember when Sebastian first really showed up. The things he does with his voice and the control are quite amazing. (I am sure you picked up much more of this with one listen that I will ever do) I am not a singer. Maybe the best way to say it is that He is never boring. Thank you for another great reaction. Wasted Time may be their most powerful song and showcases Sebastian's voice completely!
He told his father he wanted to be a singer and he said fine, but if you're going to do it, you're going to do it right. went to a vocal coach and such to make sure he didn't ruin his voice.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought this would go good. Having realized what Sebastian is capable of with his singing, and that he is an excellent rock vocalist. Skid Row was one of the first bands I got into after discovering music. Some of their songs- particularly â18 and Lifeâ- were definitely my jam. His screams really are incredible and powerful, along with his soaring high notes. One of hard rockâs strongest voices.
cool reaction, there are plenty of live performances on here, the best was thier set in London in the 90's opening for Guns & Roses
He was an easy guy to dislike : good looking, difficult abrasive ,arrogant but there is no denying he was a phenomenal talent .
to answer one of your questions:
from the recent videos i've seen, even though he is well in to his 50s now, his voice seems just as powerful as ever , though maybe not _quite_ as smooth (but still pretty smooth). a little bit "aged" , but zero wear.
their song _Wasted Time_ is considered his most passionate performance (and for good reason).
personally, i'm also a big fan of _Monkey Business_ and _Quicksand Jesus_ .

Thank you Anna, for this reaction, Skid Row was one of the great Hard Rock bands in the first half of the 90s... another hard Rock band that deserves a reaction is Tesla, they made one of the best Hard Rock albums in the world 90s that is Psychotic Supper, whoever hasn't heard it, it's worth the experience, I'm sure you won't regret it.

You should definitely react to "Wasted Time". Sebastian blew out his vocal cords recording that one; the emotion and power in that song is on a whole other level.
I don't know how many "vocal coaches" have channels on here but you are the first one I've encountered where I actually believe that you are a vocal coach. I really dig the way you analyze a performance. In English or Finnish.

This song is perhaps my greatest guilty pleasure
When you do Wasted Years, itâs a true story about a very close friend of his Parting in the 80âs became very ruff when alcohol , coke etc wasnât enough. Heroin became #1 of chasing that high. Tons of money substance and women. I wonât mention who it is until you eventually do that song. First time here!! Iâm an 80âs kid, so you doing these songs are priceless to me. Youâre 30yrs in the past but wouldâve fit in perfectly with our music and long hair. PS if you do Maiden again please do something live from 08-09 in Mexico or the rest of South America!! Would highly recommend one of our beloved Aussie legends John Farnham, starting with his cover of the Beatles hit "Help" - the version live in concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Another recommendation would be Kiwi/Aussie Stan Walker. His version of the Kanye West song "Ultralight Beam" is outstanding, as is the song he wrote for the Ava DuVernay movie Origins, called "I Am".

Iâm in my fifties. I have always sang in church and in choirs. In no way do I consider myself even near..elite. I can however recognize and appreciate power, vibrato etc etc. I saw Sebastian at this very time he made this album. I saw him four years later. Absolutely amazing. He really was close to his videos the volume of air and lung capacity to hold long powerful notes for a long time was undeniable. Such clarity as well. I saw him a few years after that and his voice was changed drastically. Not for the better. Thatâs not a slam..I blame to many concerts etc etc. not sure. Thatâs not a slamâŠI have several groups I like the lead singer and Sebastian in his prime and younger? Very hard to beat. Guns and Roses..AxâŠ.not even close,to SebastianâŠ.also donât listen to him nowâŠ.itâs terrible. Lzzy Hale is currently fronting Skid Row. Sebastian Bach released a new album earlier this year. He can still sing but you can tell his voice has lost a little with age.
All while he was sitting down! Most singers can't even do this standing up.

I've seen Bass several times. From 89 to just recently. I don't think only a few singers had the power he had in his prime back in the late 80s to early 90s. He doesn't have it now, as I saw him a few months ago. He can still sing good. Just not as good as he did back then. He can't carry the note as long. Kind of winded. That's OK. The dude is in his 50s. Even Geoff Tate can't match his own power from the 80s into the 90s anymore. However, Geoff can still sing better than my dudes in their 20s today.
