I saw Glenn solo in a small theater, just him and an acoustic guitar in 2014. I'd seen him with Squeeze a couple of times in the 80's but it was that solo show that made me realise just how good a guitar player he is. The guy's immensely talented as a songwriter, singer and guitarist.
Quality songs. Squeeze are clever songwriters. Cool for Cats although dated through its Sweeney references and yet still brilliant. Regards Sweeney reference The Sweeney a 70s tv cop show still much loved and shown here. Set in London.
For a stretch of time from late 70s to early 80s Squeeze was one of the best if you wanted catchy, smart, quirky pop music. They were even referred to as the new Lennon/McCartney by at least one publication. SO many great songs. Great upload.
You two wouldn't know how to fail even if you wanted to did it ever occur to you that you two were born to do this in life i know i couldn't even if my life depended on it lol keep up the amazing work 👍
one of my favorite SQUEEZE SONGS.... you two are the best.... i can see the love you have for each other in your eyes when you look at each other... dont get me wrong... there some TIME there... mmmm hhmmmm... but in the end ... its VERY APPARENT... the LOVE & RESPECT you both have for one another and i gotta say.... I LOVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!! TY FOR REACTING AND peace as always!!!!!!

Pulling muscles from a shell
@@swfcocs1 Yes, and Is That Love.
Unbelievably underrated band. Glenn Tilbrook is an amazing guitarist/singer and Chris Difford writes some of the cleverest lyrics

Best line from a song EVER: "I want to be good, is that not enough?" OMG. I love this song. Thank you for reacting to it.
How about, "I had excuses, those little boy lies"?

Great band
Great London band one of the best, listening to them always takes me back to my late teens/ early 20s. Good music stands the test of time.
And "If I Didn't Love You"
Just love this band... remember buying this single
I lived just around the corner from Glen. Saw him perform in local pub couple times. Also met Jools. Great down to earth guys
I've been obsessed with their greatest hits album "45s and Under" for decades. Great group!
This is one of the first songs that I saw on MTV back in 1980. Love this band. They don’t have a bad song.❤

I love watching youths reaction to songs from MY era, they’re being educated, because “songs” nowadays ARE DOGSHIT.
