Thank you! Great question, as I'm about to tackle my first two-parter in S12 with 'The Sontaran Experiment'. I think they're generally quite lean anyway so I'll probably leave them mostly as-is, maybe just tighten up some of the cuts here and there where appropriate. Same goes for three-parters really, unless I think the pace needs to be improved or some scenes work in a different order
oh god no, I can't get six parters down to an hour! But yes, cutting them to two 50 min episodes cuts *a lot* of fat. The first three episodes are basically just the Dr and Jo going back & forth being accused of being spies. It only gets interesting when the Master shows up.
