Narrow minded people will think it's weird for grown man to hang around with children. Children are more innocent than adults. They don't smoke, drink, take drugs, they want to make believe, they still have their imagination. He didn't want to grow up, children can respond to that child like energy. He was too good, sensitive for this world. He tried to be tough and people attacked him, he tried to good and people attacked him. He could not win.
