As someone who personally is a survivor of sexual, emotional and substance abuse, I would honestly like to sue anybody who commented shit on this guy if there actually was a law allowing me to do so... Sadly there isn't one in the States, not that I know. Where I live, each of the commentor would have been investigated by the police officer and has to go to court and pay their fine already.
Freedom of speech and hate crime are not to be confused. This guy Aaron Carter he's basically asking people NOT to make the same mistakes he had made as an allegedly SEXUAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICALLY ABUSED former child star whose family and public image fell apart, to listen to his journey as a RECOVERING substance abuser, NOT TO DO DRUGS except for weed(which has had its tons of arguments on its health benefit and is legal in so many part of the world already), and how to stay motivated even if his career comeback is hard as hell and not successful in an overall sense but still worthy of note.
And he gets his words taken out of context, bashed, ridiculed and hated upon.
It is truly hard to imagine a child idol turning into a porn entertainer and internet personality who actually makes decent but underpromoted pop music and so many other unconventional things that he's doing right now. However whether his personality and work sound good or not to you and whether he's telling 100% truth is honestly not related to all of this, and all I see is a hardworking person constantly ignored for his effort and made fun of instead, and some of the comments are really considered hate crimes here, extremely offensive and triggering to anybody who has suffered anything similar to the man and trying their best to place life back into order.
While your comment was not that severe but still offensive, I’m just asking you to please show some respect or shut the fuck up. Entertainers are here to entertain and earn a living, not a role model or a saint and of course not a free target for verbal abuse. I taught Aaron Jazz Dance when he was 5. I can say that yes his family was always a little wacky/odd. He does not say anything about his family that surprises me. He was a sweet kid in those days. I feel sad for him for everything he has been through with them.
